I’m 75. Been listening to Pink Floyd since the 68 or so. Been to a couple of their concerts. Still love their music and listen to it a lot. David Gilmore in my opinion is the greatest guitarist ever. His style is unbelievable great. Just my opinion.

This has always been, from when it was first released, one of my favourite Pink Floyd songs (along with Time). Today I found this video for the first time. I am not ashamed to say it made me incredibly sad at the state of world today and the many people who are ignored and feel invisible, often through no fault of their own. As Tony says below, Don't ever look down on anyone unless your helping them up... and we have an awful lot of people still to help. I hope many of us can be inspired to do just that... Love and peace to all.

Wendy it's OK to want to help a homeless person without inviting them into your home and puttng yourself at risk. There are many other ways that you can help you can donate time or money to your local homeless shelter or even do more depending on your financial situation So don't feel guilty about wanting to protect you and your property

I have seen works of art in my life, but this it's probably one of the best, very great sound track, very eye opener to who still don't see, remind me to still help who is down and hopefully will come back up. Very super well done to the guy that shoot all the frames and to who built the figurines.

HOW THE HELL Can 1.4K people NOT like this Video... Must be the cold hearted who can't see the invisible... I've lived through homelessness a few times... The longest was 5 years by my selfe the other times with my wife... I see the invisible every day and if I ever become rich my first priority after paying my debts and buying the property I desire will be to help the homeless and get at least 1 a yhear off the street and in a home of their own. My brother-in-law was homeless and died on the streets of LA and I dream of creating the Aaron Armstrong Foundation one day. Thank you for this Video... God Bless 🙏🏾

Lembro de estar na escola com meus Walkman ouvindo esta canção do cassete " Delicate sound of the Thunder " que me deu uma visão maior do que é música, de seu poder diante tudo e todos... Naquela tarde, um cãozinho rescem nascido com pêlos ralos e meio cego apareceu em frente a minha sala de aula na hora do recreio... .... eu tinha comprado uma coxinha de frango pro lanche e ouvindo mais uma vez essa fita cassete do Pink Floyd, quando toca " On the turning Away... E olhando para aquele serzinho e sentido seu sofrimento e dores de abandono e solidão, as lágrimas caíram como rochas e com todo o carinho e respeito que brotava de mim, alimentei-o com todo o carinho que minha humildade poderia oferecer. Senti que todos os meus " pecados " passados e futuros estavam sendo perdoados, que o universo me dava um caminho livre de paz interna mas não ainda, de livração de dor. As pessoas ao meu redor comovidas, algumas foram às lágrimas como eu... Não sei a vida que este cão teve depois disso mas aquele dia ele teve mais do que alimento, ele teve meu amor.

(Not me, cause I have PD/SAD & everybody I see has to eat a shit sandwich, cause I grew some medicine 9 yrs ago & Nixon didn't like it!!) I had a buddy in college whom had a shitty childhood--Mother gave birth to him when she was a teenager, an abusive dad and had been fending for himself since the age of 16 or so--he had lived with his dysfunctional cousin for a bit. I met him in college after he quietly asked me for a ride back down to the city, so i obliged. We got chatting and he was working at a car parts plant over night and going to school by day. he was a supervisor there and made a good wage, but he didnt want to be there brain dead for the rest of his life. He would ask me how to write a sentence while we were in classs. i was stunned and then it donned on me, when one leaves school in grade 7-8 or so and having a shitty childhood, this is the result. He never gave up and he made me appreciate what I had versus what I didn't. He quietly told me one day, that he had spent a night out on the streets years ago and vowed it was going to be the last time he did. I helped him with whatever I could to help him thrive. the last time i saw him, he was making into the six figures at his job. he worked endless hours and shifts and took any training he possibly could. he'd bought a brand new house, he and his long time girlfriend had two kids, she went back to university fo r a second time. I really respect him and his neverending work ethic and big heart that he has. friends like him dont come around often. He never complained about his life or situation, he just worked to improve his life. he even managed to finally quit his atleast a pack a day habit of cigarettes when he was 26, once his first son was born. He's now 41 and i met him at 20 when we were in college.
