My boi Hooxi channeling his inner KennyS with them no scopes. Insanely lucky, yes, but still a crazy clutch. G2's gotta stop picking inferno though, for real. They've been losing on it way too often. Props to Imperial, for not giving up after getting diced up in game 1, coming back strong in game 2 and winning on G2's map pick. G2's tournament run is only just about to begin. Their first test would be in the semifinals. If they bomb out in the semis 0-2 in embarrassing fashion again, heads will start rolling. As much as I love this current iteration of G2, this has to be their last chance to prove to everyone that their previous Blast Premiere win wasn't a fluke. That they are indeed a championship-caliber team.
It's incorrect to validate past performance with current performance - G2 won the last Premier because they deserved to. They will win it again if they deserve to. Inferno CT side needs improvement as Niko said yesterday, Imperial also has a very different play style that caught G2 off guard having to make many adjustments which they were unable to do so along with too many mistakes where they overpeeked in man advantage situations. G2's CT Side needs a serious relook. It's going to be very hard for G2 against Faze/Vitality/Heroic since these teams are far more tactical and organized vs G2 which plays a lot of instinct. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge G2 fan and I want to see them win because they are by far the most entertaining team in CSGO.

@@dance1415 You're imagining it. jks was bottom frag on Ancient and Inferno. HooXi was bottom frag on Nuke. m0NESY never bottom fragged and his lowest rating in the series was 1.11 on Inferno. G2 just got outplayed on Inferno despite them all fragging (apart from jks) and Imperial managed to force Map 3 by winning basically every rifle round in Map 2.

they are always strong , except during major legend stage
What I'm a g2 supporter this is not super performance. Only on ancient and there's largely 1 man army not g2 army and on nuke it was monesy . Not in their best form, this.
@@gordonho5986 what are you talking about? Except some slipups, g2 Looks really strong. Its not mandatory for every player to always frag Out. In fact its not even the role JKS or Hooxi are playing. Niko, Monesy and Hunter are there to kill, JKS is anchor and hooxi igl... They Look strong because they are playing theire roles really good
@DerWookie i do not deny anything that you listed. But there were still lots of minor slip-ups made individually and poor calling as a team, I really want them to make it to the finals. So it's up to the coach to iron it out. They are strong but not top 1-2 strong yet . Hope they get there.. 💪

Yeah Niko is insane, so Imperial is good. I think Imp couldve have won, if not by the 2 rounds mistaken that IMP did. They had the both rounds won, but end up losing. But gz G2. Niko main ancient lol. We cant deny that IMP a few weeks ago, was a A/B team, now is hitting hard in S. GZ to them too. Keep it and will show even better results.
