I just got a v2, can I ask if your v2 has stained yet, if so how do you clean them?
Mine hasn't stained, only problem I have had is just dead skin build up and I clean it normally with soap and water then let it dry. Depending on the stain I'd just try warm/hot water and scrubbing to see if it goes away, if not then try whatever procedure would work for that kind of stain that you have unless it requires bleach.
how do u clean ur pad? i just ordered a new v2 as well waiting for it to arrived
just water, liquid soap and a sponge. i typically scrub using the soft side of the sponge and not the abrassive part. some people use powder soap instead.
Appreciate the information! Also just one more thing what do you think about obisidian dots on this pad? Or would you recommend a normal ptfe skates to use on it
@@yo1_yt Don't have obsidian dots nor plan on getting them in the near future so not sure how they'd perform but normal ptfe skates are probably the best move as I've used glass skates and even sapphire skates and I like the feeling of just normal ptfe skates more for the pad.
Obsidian Dots are great for glass or ceramic pads. Way Way too muddy on any cloth pads IMO. Jades for cloth & Obsidian for glass
My V2 does not slip at all on my desk. I don't think you are entirely fair judging how it stays put on another pad.
Been a while since the upload of this video, but I believe I said that the v2 has improved their base compared to the v1 but does still slide a little bit. If I didn't say in the video then I also want to add that it could be due to my desk that is causing it not to fully stick and isn't the the fault of the mousepad. I don't test the stickiness of the base of any mousepad based on how well it sticks to another mousepad under it, just had both the v1 and v2 on my desk for showing and testing.
