Kevin De Bruyne has a decent speed, which makes him get out of defenders and gives time to let other fast players run and create the required space, and De Bruyne can just pass to them to see them score. Well, not all the time, but mostly.

No man, it's a different vision of football - very modern. De Bruyne is not even what you'd call a pure playmaker. But if we wanna talk about that, I'd say the best one was Paul Scholes. And people like Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta, Rjikaard, Matthaus - all of them were way a better "playmaker" than De Bruyne.

What I love about KDB is that nothing about his moves is flashy or impressively dribbling past your opponent. Just solid runs and lethally accurate passing. Even inexperienced strikers would be able to score often with him in the team.

You have to understand that hes under pressure aswell, he has 1 or 2 seconds to analyze the perfect pass, how to place it, whos making the runs in behind to find the space, before a defender comes running towards him. Hes truly one of the best midfielders not just in the prem but of all time, stats show that, eye test shows that, scoresheets show that, trophy cabinets show that. KDB worked well with virtually all forwards in Man C, especially Sergio, Haaland and Gundugan ( rare good False 9 ). KDB had never worked well with one player -- over 10 years. Yes, none of Belgium players had worked well with their immobile and lumber centre striker in the past 10 years.

What I love about KDB is that nothing about his moves is flashy or impressively dribbling past your opponent. Just solid runs and lethally accurate passing. Even inexperienced strikers would be able to score often with him in the team.
