GOOD MODEL INFRASTRUCTURE FOR GOAT & SHEEP with Mr. Bent & Mr.Bernard || SRAJM
Goat and Sheep rearing must have first a plan for infrastructure. Area for pens, types and source of feeding for the animals. I have seen so many farmers buy animals, bring them home and then start thinking about how to house and feed them. They end up losing some animals because of miss management. We should always have more food than mouth to feed.
Mr.Bent did it Right.....
The SRAJM is open to all farmers in goat and sheep rearing and there is no age limit. It is a non-governmental organization with affiliation to the Ministry of Agriculture (MINAG) and Jamaica Livestock Association (JLA), and possesses its own Board of Management and Secretariat. It is also a member of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS).
Why should you become a member? Here are some benefits of SRAJM:
1) Continuous training of the latest development in the small ruminants industry.
2) Preparation of farm plans and project proposals.
3) Information in the formulation of feeds.
And Many more………..

That gentleman in the red, he is indeed eloquent. Great video. Loving the model and the integration of livestock and crops. Hoping to get into this production one day.
Mr Brown you are such an inspiration to me. You wealth of knowledge is impeccable
He is indeed an inspiration especially for young people. He has a KZhead channel, named Farmer Khalil. You can keep up with him.
Love from Grenada.Nice goat house well planned work.Food security for your animals also.Good example.
Vast amount of knowledge from both gentlemen, farmers need to grasp as much as they can to the benefit of the nation.
thanks
Great vedio and enough information. Always appreciated from South 🇿🇦 Africa. Thanx Mr Bernard
Sir, you have been a great source of information to me in the field of goat rearing.
Beautiful start. Now talk to the people about the 5 principles of soil health! 1. Keep the soil covered/protected to keep in moisture, moderate temperature, and feed the soil. 2. Reduce disturbance - avoid tillage, chemical fertilizers, fungicides and herbicides. 3. Increase diversity with 3, 5, 8, 15 and more species in a field- avoid monocropping. 4. Keep a living root in the soil for as many months of the year so the sunlight is collected all year long. 5. Integrate animals (diversity here too with chickens following cattle and goat).
Upgrade sustainable to regenerative - check out Ray Archuleta, Gabe Brown, and Joel Salatin.
Thank you for your informative response. Keep helping us to GROW.. BIG -UP

Great
Madddd farming is very good planting your fruit and vegetables and then you feed the animals with the scraps of peeling of waste blessings
Very unique style of farming.
This man is very knowledgeable about grass and goat farming. I will check him out soon.
The combination of my two role models. I appreciate both of you so much!.
I am soo impressed with the investment from livestock farmers and the husbandry practices used. I am extremely expressed with silage production which needs to be implemented and you can have it available during the drought period. This is a perfect example of an integrated farm. Very educational tool!! Great job!!!!
Very interesting. Mr. Bent is a smart farmer he can teach other farmers how to raise their goats.
Good going, I'm pretty young but fascinated by the work you guys putting in.
Watching from Nigeria! Awesomely awesome video, God bless you all
Thanks
Awesome job guys keep up the great work
Please put off the music so that we could benefit from the good words spoken. Unfortunately we miss a lot of wisdom through the music playing whilst you speaking. Thanks
Wow!! enjoyed watching diff farms learning a lot
Glad to hear that
If you use chickens to roam free in the grass they help scratch and spread the goat berries
right!
Beautiful House I live it
Thank you! 😊
Great model! Kudos to Mr Bent and his innovation! What nutritional benefits does the dried cassava roots provide the goats?

With an electric fence and goats broke to hotwire or hotwire, you can transport a handful of goats to trim people yard for a small fee.
Our landscape is so small I am not sure if its practical but good comment..
and all that goat leave behind (goat berries) is natural fertilizer
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I agree 100% can I get some contact information I'm planning on going into goats farming with 5 acre of land. I'm so impressed
Poly-farming is best because you always have something to sell or eat

What is soilage ?
grass/corn or greens chopped up and stored to cause it to ferment to a certain level. The less oxygen/fresh air, the better. it is then fed to cattle/goats and sheep
