It’s mind boggling how these judges dish out golden buzzers for boring sympathy acts, yet when true genius and talent is before them, they are blind and deaf. This guy truly deserves the golden buzzer. Open your eyes and ears, judges!!!
He will win that’s why they didn’t give him the golden buzzer. But if too many singers got the golden buzzer people will be moaning so it’s good that he didn’t in that case.
He more than deserved a golden buzzer but luckily for us we get to hear more of him throughout the show
Yeah he will definitely be in the finals for sure that’s why he didn’t need one why waste a golden buzzer if he will be there anyway as they are not going to let him escape from the show if they did then there would be fans switching off.

As an italian let me say that beside his singing skills, his pronounciation is almost perfect
😊Just for interest: SA has 12 official languages. This lovely, lovely chap probably speaks at least 4 of them. Grasping languages is just normal, day-to-day stuff for him.

I am sure his English is very good.He didn't go into detail about anything Made the audience laugh before he began.They already liked him before he started to sing.The training that he had in South Africa he would probably have had gone to a school that first language as English then maybe Zulu as a second language or Afrikaans.He probably speaks Xhosa as well.He could have taken two languages at school as first language or more.Proud to be a South African when I hear him sing.❤🇻🇺

you dont golden buzzer for clear winners very often. they'll get their praise. you golden buzzer for random stuff to encourage future seasons of different things. If you only golden buzzer the nuts people then you wont get many auditions.

I'm a classically trained singer and can say that this guy was amazing, i was listening carefully and he hit every note flawlessly, well done, i hope you have a bright future ahead.
Honestly, I think the judges were so mesmerized by this performance, they literally forgot to push the buzzer.
In that they/the audience/I couldn't breathe for a bit, I can understand that.

I can see everyone "raging" for the golden buzzer. This is talent, no sob story, just the brilliance of his art. This guy doesn't need a golden buzzer, he will thrive with or without a buzzer. I am glad he is on a stage where his talent can shine.

Opera singer here: usually, the opera singers they get on these types of shows are ‘student opera singer level’ - but this guy is a talent. I hope that he is auditioning for the right people in the big American opera companies. Beautiful young tenor.

Innocent is a friend of a friend of mine, who both went to the same high school together both of them are amazing talented singers though the other friend stopped singing due to financial strains due to responsibilities I'm happy that Innocent has made it this far, this is proof it's never to late and anytime can be your moment

Secunda was established solely on the basis of construction of a petro-chemicals facility. Having been to Secunda many times I can report that it is not the best place to live, with among highest CO2 pollution levels in the world. Amazing that he can breathe, let alone sing.

The judges were still memorised and overwhelmed, so they forgot the buzzers. He does not need buzzers he beyond their expectations.
These Judges are something else..they hardly ever get it right.
A golden buzzer shoots you through to the semi-finals without having to work so hard and showers the performance with a bunch of golden confetti. It signifies approval, but takes a lot away from the audiences around the world. That's about it. There may be attention received from those willing to help him outside, but Innocent doesn't need that. It is like a pinata with no guarantees of anything.

Just for interest: that shirt style is very common in SA, and the patterns are usually very distinct (sort of like quilting). When I saw the shirt, and the name "Innocent" I KNEW he was South African. It's quite common to have people called: Consistency, Policy, Office, Blessing, Gift, Trouble, etc. The names reflect the past, and show the future.

True talent doesn’t need a common buzzer. Innocent’s vocals bought tears of emotion to my eyes and heart. The judges were also amazed at his vocal talent. I hope he gets to audition for the correct people as the timbre and quality of his voice must not be wasted. The joy he can bring to people will be immense and I hope he comes to Australia so i can hear him in person. 🇦🇺🦘🦘🇦🇺
He has a smile as big as his glorious voice and that is mighty darn BIG. Fantastic!
