Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 46 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Chicago Bulls, 113-97. This was Antetokounmpo’s 5th 45+ point game of the season and 20th of his career, while Damian Lillard added 16 points and 7 assists in the victory. Coby White tallied 22 points for the Bulls in the losing effort. The Bucks win their fifth straight game as they improve to 40-21 on the season, while the Bulls fall to 28-32.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (46 PTS, 16 REB, 6 AST) ties Oscar Robertson and Bob Pettit for 4th most games with 40+ PTS, 15+ REB, 5+ AST.
Antetokounmpo (46 PTS, 16-22 FG, 16 REB, 6 AST) becomes the 5th player (7th instance) to record such a game shooting 70% or better from the field, joining:

    • ​@@emilfrederiksen.1622 You are correct. SGA is an elite two way player and probably the only one who can compete with Giannis among MVP candidates in that aspect. Jokic is undoubtedly in the conversation for the best-ever offensive center as he is a threat from the post, the mid and the 3p line along with his exceptional playmaking abilities. I cannot discredit any of these players; I just feel like Giannis has been the best player in the league for the last five years or so, considering that half of the game is played on defense. In my opinion, the player who has the potential to dethrone Giannis, if healthy, is Wemby, perhaps in three or four years. However, maintaining good health with his size is a big if. We'll see how it goes.

    • Normal good coaching strategy. Keeping Lopez and Giannis to control the paint instead of pressure the guards on the high-screen game. They're letting teams shoot mid-range shots but stressing to guard the three and paint. Weak side defenders don't overhelp on drives and leave wide open shooters.
