Have you ever done an Ocarina of Time Beta Quest run? Basically, every load zone leads to a random area. So leaving Link's house could lead to Ganon's tower, the bongo-bongo fight, anywhere. (As a side note, dying and respawning is its own load zone for each area. So if you die at bongo-bongo, your respawn could be walking into the Great Deku Tree and then dying in there could be coming out of the water temple.)
How is that possible
@@fuckcontinentals I don't know for certain, but I imagine it works similarly to wrong warping. To my understanding, when Link enters a load zone or dies there is a location value that gets set. This value determines where the game should put Link and I believe it is then set back to 0. Wrong warping works by causing two of these value changes to happen at the same time because for some reason when setting the value the game adds the value of the load zone instead of hard setting it, this has the effect of adding the two load zones together to give you a different location. As for beta quest, my guess is that they just scramble the load zone values in the ROM.

@@microwavegommm7689 yes you have to either have dolphin emulator or a hacked wii u with the nintendont emulator on it in my experience To randomize the game you just need to download a program and have the iso for it

In the real world, projectiles fire farthest from a cannon at 45 degrees only across level ground. If the cannon is higher than the target, then it will fire farthest at an angle below 45 degrees. So the game is double wrong somehow.

the cabana game is actually a pretty good way to grind rupees once you get good at it. With the help of a youtube tutorial, I was able to consistently get it in under a minute each time. The big thing is that when you fill up all the lights, it gives you something like 500 rupees instead of the regular 50

The luck in the beginning on the items makes me furious, especially after playing so many runs of getting soft locked because I'm stupid and unlucky.
box I don’t think you can get soft locked that easily. What probably happened was you missed 1 chest that you thought you got and it had an important item.
For me it was get the big wallet as the last available item, and then have progressive items stuck behind big purchases, so I have to spend over an hour grinding at the boating course.
I came back to this by pure coincidence and realized Wind Waker is now 20 years old. I feel old now...
