How to turn the BRIDGE DIODE into a powerful 220V INVERTER?

This video shows how to convert a bridge rectifier diode into a powerful 220V inverter without external power. First, identify the 4 diodes in the bridge rectifier configuration. Then, connect each leg of the bridge rectifier to a coil of wire. The coils will act as the alternator to generate AC power. Connect the output wires from the bridge rectifier to a capacitor to smooth the power into clean 220V AC. The system uses the inductance of the coils and capacitance of the capacitor to create resonant oscillations, amplifying the small electrical noise in the circuit into usable AC power. This DIY inverter project takes advantage of the properties of diodes and reactive components to invert DC power from the bridge rectifier into 220V AC power, seemingly creating electricity from nothing. With this technique, we can build an inverter to generate 220V AC power using only a simple bridge rectifier diode and basic components.

  • The problem with connecting the positive and negative of a bridge rectifier in reverse to a DC power source is that all diodes become forward biased and short circuit the supply until the bridge or supply fail.
