    • @@CmdrSoCal I would encourage you to watch the fight again and pay close attention to Jurjendals aggression at the start of the fight and his constant shifting backwards waiting and to strike afterwards. It clearly looks like he had a plan to damage Badrs leg at the start so as to provoke him to open up. Jurjendal spends the last half of the first round just waiting for the right time to counter. I understand that from the outside, kick-boxing just looks like two neanderthals swinging their fists at each other, but if you've practiced martial arts and pay close attention to their movements you can see that there's a lot more going on.

  • He wants to still fight at high level. But, so many defeats in the last years, and all of them before the final bell. Looks like he can not anymore. Painfull... I reckon this was his last real fight. Its posible to organize in the near future a retiring last fight, more a demontrative show with an old legend, , as well close to 40 of age. Someone like Remy Boniavski or Daniel Ghita, or even a rematch with the sunset star Benjamin Adebugi.

    • @@Fahhad007 You can see that Badr is a master in kickboxing, an example in this fight is the kick to the body, when Uku came in. Altough his age catched up with him and i think its a lack of training as well. If you still want to compete at this level on his age, he has to even give more in training to get at a lower level then he was in his prime. I don't think he has that kind of motivation anymore, because he already is a legend, he doesn't need money (biggest motivation in the past i think) and has a beuatiful family.

  • He telegraphed that kick, no set up, etc. Also can't murk opponents if not having a big skill and physical advantage. Reminds of the end of Fedors career. If opponents are more on the level have to adapt strategy and also account for not being as athletic as he used to be.

  • To be honest, I think Hari can still win fights. The issue is he has not adjusted his style to match changes to his skills. If he fought behind his jab, reduced his output and threw power when appropriate. I think he could beat a lot of people. But he wants to wade into wars and throw every shot with power…

  • Badr might have some brain damage, he seems to be blinking in an unnatural way, his coordination is that of someone under the influence of alcohol, very sad to watch the old boy try and stand on his own two feet.

    • The real kickboxingfans will remember him as a legend. But the "Fans" nowadays will see him as a failure, if he wants to please them and end his career with a couple of wins inside the glory ring, he needs to give everything for the upcoming 1-1.5 years, and do nothing else then focusing on training and kickboxing. I don't think he has this kind of motivation anymore, altough i hope he will, because its sad seeing him losing, but we will miss him if he retires.
