I went bouldering for the first time today and have come to the conclusion that what she is doing here can only be achieved by CGI
Apart from her mega strength and strategic thinking on the wall the humbleness she displays is one of her greatest assets. Not all top female climbers can compete with her on that!
She makes it all look so easy. Watching climbing reminds me how our ape bodies evolved to excel at this activity.

Why was she called down on the first problem? She put her arms and legs on starting holds. One arm on each upper volume, two legs on lower volume.
i believe the lower volume was separated into two. she needed a foot on each one
thats my best guess but im not sure really
Can someone explain what was wrong with the very first attempt? Was that just a pure mistake by the judges?
idk the juges are just blind or something at 0:10 she touches all holds
When she reached out for the right start hold I think she moved her right foot onto the divide in the volumes, the bottom volume technically is 2 volumes put together. It's silly but I guess rules are rules.
You cant really see perfectly if she established all 4 holds (right foot is questionable). In the end its also in her interest as otherwise her go might get appaeled by the other teams if the start was not 100% clear.
@@GelasticTM the rules dont clearly state that touching two starting holds at the same time is not allowed
@@gurke19 you can 100% see it clearly Also the other teams could have tried to appeal and Even if they succeded she would still have the remaining time to attempt again
I think she should be placed in the men competition. She'd probably excel there also
