  • Hey man, lovely job. Im jelous of your galaxy, it looks wayyyy faster than my hummel. Just a suggestion, bunnings sell a paint applicator pad, made by monarch. I find the pad to be faster, i also get a better finish with it, on areas like the stairs and the facias.

    @allanyoung4018@allanyoung40187 ай бұрын

  • How do you fill cracks between the boards from the floors shifting before you sand and finish?

    @Shaed1515@Shaed15156 ай бұрын
    • Sawdust and wood glue

      @mountain-roots@mountain-roots3 ай бұрын
    • Only use sawdust and glue up to 3mm gaps. Otherwise, use wood slivers. resin is known to crack and fall through as the wood moves through temp and humidity changes!

  • So did you just do 1 round of the drum sander at 30 grit then used the orbital sander with grits 40-120 (i think i forgot) as a second round? Or was there more rounds that weren’t filmed?

    @AnUnbelievableLackOfTalent@AnUnbelievableLackOfTalent9 ай бұрын
    • Hey mate, so we went round twice with the drum sander - 1st round was 50grit and 2nd round was 80grit. Then we used the buffer for final sand using alternating discs (60g, 80g & 120g) 👍🏻
