  • I believe that "groceries" commonly implies food items. You may buy non food items at a grocery store but those fall under other broad categories such as toiletries, cleaning supplies, utensils, etc. Napkins and knives fall under utensils. Napkins can also fall under paper prododucts or cleaning supplies but not groceries.

  • If two SMART people were playing this game (which they wouldn't) they would know who will lose, and that would be the first player because after pears you pass the turn to the next person and after they pass back it would be 2 moves (an even number), and there are only 26 letters in the game (an EVEN NUMBER) so when you continue the game, eventually it will hit 26 (AN EVEN NUMBER) so player 1 would lose.
