I love the youthful spirit of Montreal. Biggest issues with them are that they seem to relax/sit back as soon as they get a lead, they dump the puck in too much and just don't generally seem as dangerous as some of the other teams. Today they got some puck luck and great shot by Caufield though :)

Yes, the odd-man rushes and the D getting pinched up and caught out of position haven’t done Georgie any favours. Most recently, Sammy G essentially cross-checking him against Toronto and sitting there with his thumb up his rectum tonight on that 4th goal didn’t help Georgie’s cause neither.

Avs need a goalie. Period. You’d think that the fans forcing him into the All-Stars game would boost his confidence but he is so inconsistent it’s hard to watch. Put a bad goalie on a bad team, they look ok. Put a bad goalie on a good team, they look worse, which is where Georgie is now.
It’s getting really sad how people are still defending him. Other than his one shutout, the guy has been a sub .900 in his last 10 games (for the second time this season). That last goal was on Gerard though…I’m not sure what he was doing there. He IS NOT THE GUY.

Even though we won, this has to be said. I know It’s easy to point fingers at the ref when something doesn’t go your way but hoooly…. The refs were completely one sided tonight and that’s just not easy to watch. Officials need to start being held accountable just like the players after an awful game. Brutal missed calls on Montreal all night… Not just the 1st or the 2nd, legit all night. Stopped watching after Evans interference/embellishment. Besides that it was a hard fought win
This is apparently a trend with Colorado. They are consistently one of the most awarded power play teams and one of the least penalties in the league. Don't take it personally.

Everyone-including the coaching staff-knows it. Yes, there are major defensive issues this year, but 2 of those 4 goals should’ve been stopped, there’s no debate.

They have played well against the top of the league this year, against the rest.... not so much 😅 But this is a rebuilding year so imagine the youngsters with more experience and the Habs should be pretty good. Some were fans of the Nordiques and became fans of the Avs because, for all intent and purpose, it was the same team they had grown loving, just in another town. Most turned to other teams, but some stuck with them. I mean, outside of the whole relocation, the Avs were and have been a pretty banging team. I'm from Quebec and I don't think a few dudes showing up to a Habs-Avs game with Avs jerseys are trying to make a point or piss off anyone. There's always a few fans of any other team showing up to local games.

@politicalbandwagon4989 Remember that defense? That defense made teams work for every shot. Also, Kuemper was a much more experienced goalie. He's also doing crap all in Washington the last two seasons. This is Georgie's second full season a starting goalie. Plus Kuemper had a quality backup
