1872 Ghost town Osceola Nevada, this is Nevada’s longest lasting placer gold camp. Gold discovered in 1872 with a belt 12 miles long and 7 miles wide. When rich placers were found in one of the areas gulches the gold rush to Osceola was on. With a population of 1900 the water did not hold out, population dwindled and then came a large fire that took the town. We explore what’s left of the town and its cemetery.

The cemetery alone was worth the visit. Thank you.
Yes it was a great find. Thank you so much for the comment and watch and we will see you in the next one.
Freaking Awesome 👍 👍
Thank you so much for watching and the comment. We had a great time. We will see you in the next one.
We've seen the sign to Osceola when going to and from ely to Newcastle utah, thanks for taking us along, to bad about the no trespassing! Thanks Bob the welder and wife
If you head in there just say on the main dirt road. Google maps show 4 different paths and redirect, they don’t work and takes you off in the woods 😂 thank you for watching and we will see you I. The next one.
Hey Bob, you related to Mrs. Margaret Rowe from Good Ole Ruth?
@jammiecunningham2763 No, sorry
Cool place to visit 😊😊
Yes, once we found the correct road 😂 thank you so much for watching and the comment and we will see you in the next one.
The old outhouse, is still standing, tho the papers cracked and dry; and there's that old oak seat I used to sit on. Down the road I'd run sometimes I'd make it, other times I had to fake it, that's why we have such green, green grass at home. Yee-Haa!😊 You'll probably be humming that song all day. If your old enough to remember it.
Haha that’s great. We had a lot of fun on this adventure, thank you so much for this great comment and watching 👍🏻 we will see you in the next one.
My friend's Dad owns the Hotel Milford. I can see about getting you an invite in.
That would be great! Maybe we could meet up there as well. We had a viewer a ways. Back that said they had a relative that owned it. But they were going to be there on a celebration day and it would have been crowded. We could do a walk through and film it. Thank you so much for being in our fan club and following along.
@@weekendescapades would be fun! let me see what I can arrange. Last time I was through there, I posted a selfie of me out in front of the hotel.. and my friend messaged me and said I should've just walked-in and asked for her relative.
Sounds good just let me know. Thank you
Much enjoyed, the mobile home seemed in good shape for it's age, apparently that climate preserves things well. Thanks for the tour Weekend! 👍🤠 I google lensed that pickup: 7:23 Chevrolet 3100, the year I don't know. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Advance_Design
Glad you enjoyed, wasn’t much left but what was there is interesting and looked very ghost town for sure. Thank you for sharing on the old truck information. We will see you In The next one.
