  • I've got 3 tandems under my belt. Two, 23 years ago, and most recent was 2019. On the last one, I felt door terror until I was out of the plane. That surprised me. I noticed that when I was at that place mentally, so was everything else I worried about just flooding my being. The jump went great, but I needed to handle my business; kids, career, and all my obligations not being ok. I learned that my life was out of balance. Hopefully soon, I can get my rating.

  • Brian Germain and Dean Ricci have great books on fear. Solo, stress free jumps really helped me when I was going through AFF. I think you should watch all of the TEEM videos and learn how your gear works. Read and watch everything skydiving. Take a canopy course right away!

  • Low altitude aircraft failure is my biggest fear. I'm always looking for landing areas while climbing.
