The ignore damage buff is crazy at level 6. Ignore damage received by 60% for 8 secs on a 15 second cooldown. It’s essentially a brilliant ctp of authority steel buff.

Beast Mode pointed this out, but Provoke buff is pretty useless because most of the abilities of top tier PvP characters are area damage. So even if you 'provoke' them to attack one of your characters, the abilities are going to end up hitting everyone that is alive just because the arena is fairly small and everyone seems to be grouped up.

One thing that can help make Otherworld fun, everyday they allow only 10-15 characters to be used, so you have to build your while roster, example one day requires only mutants, next day only avengers, next day only asgardians, next day only super villians, next day only space characters. This makes you have to rethink your team strategy everyday, and won't get bored fighting Jean and Gorr everyday

yeah but it would be a game mode for only the old players and whales, i think it would be better to just restrain some characters instead or buff some so everyone can still play it, like the pvp. they can just say this season no jean grey/thanos etc and buff unpopular characters. like that everyone can still play (i know they put a debuff system etc but its not enougth they need to do it better)

The ignore damage decrease goes up to 60% for 8 seconds with a 15 second cooldown when maxed out. You should consider checking out the maxed out version of all the buffs since the level 1 versions can really mislead your opinions.

Some of the ones that look bad might be better when levelled up. I have the ignore damage one at lvl 4 and it ignores damage received by 40% for 6 seconds with a 19sec cooldown.

The weak defense strat actually works on games with "revenge" mechanics, so losses dont hurt that much since we technically get the points back. Maybe if the devs actually add a revenge option, the community will collectively agree to just leave a weak def team for everyone to complete dailies

Last 2 days I've completed 140 runs of dimension mission and I've only gotten only one flower for the event. I'm am at 10/20 so far. This is pure rng and I'm probably gonna miss the premium character selector

I am doing the trash team strategy since Day one. Award matters!! Stay your score around 2000. All you need is auto-play on every Saturday morning in order to get the weekly award before reset, and it only takes me less than half hour to climb up to challenger (3500 points).

I set the bad team so that I drop in rank, then when I play again, I put my stacked team and I absolutely smoke everyone when I put it on auto. I have jumped up from bronze to platinum in a day. But then I set my bad team and I wake up to being back down around silver. The goal is to push at the end of the week... at least that's the plan as it stands right now. But I do have 75% win rate for my attacks.

imo all the current rewards for this game mode should be weekly and they need to make more pleasing seasonal rewards that would actually feel rewarding, cause I actually enjoy this game mode to my surprise even positioning the characters like my hulk or carnage to spideys position is enjoying,, I'm just grinding right now for ctp and t4 materials cause thats all there is since im already satisfied to my current sword stats (would still try to make it better though, 18% all ATK and maxed strength +15% phys ATK and maxed psionic + 15% Energy ATK, and maxed judgement +12% pierce damage reduction I even built and bought wasp uniform for this game mode and sometimes with ancient one and America Chavez since they have great utility even though ive never considered them since i never really enjoyed TB and i even cancelled swapping out my T4 jeans mighty greed for a rage for more PVE climb

I think at this point, it’s almost worthless and redundant to have TLB and OWB at the same time. I think they should have these game modes intermittently or just get rid of TLB completely if the devs are going to concentrate on the newer game mode.

Beast mode did a video regretting that he purchase the provoke buff. He tested and found out the effect did absolutely nothing in the arena as most meta characters like jean, thanos and gorr has huge AoE skills. I haven't test it myself its just something worth mentioning what other content creator's experience with the new otherworld game mode

@@RyantheGOAT69 PS im not sure if your boasting or what but i know for a fact that im barely hangin at Vib1 with my vip 2 acc and 16%pierce Plus everyone has their own preferences with a game mode enjoyment and my only personal problem was rewards, its gameplay is arguable id give you that, but i find satisfaction in grinding for those daily,weekly,seasonal missions for battle pass to grind up for a CTP or something which why I dont autoplay/autorepeat

I'm so glad they made a new game mode with some depth to it. Obviously there are still OP pvp characters, but with the right team, buffs, and planning you can level the playing field a bit. Now we just need the devs to rework TLB and shadowland with the same level of detail...

I'm so glad they made a new game mode with some depth to it. Obviously there are still OP pvp characters, but with the right team, buffs, and planning you can level the playing field a bit. Now we just need the devs to rework TLB and shadowland with the same level of detail...

When new things like this are introduced, it’s like if you don’t get with the program and do it you’ll get left behind while everyone else gets a head start on a ton of buffs. Another piece of content that I need to hurry up and incorporate in my daily routine sucks
The season has a 2 month duration. You don't have to speedrun it if you aren't hoarding mats for swords.

The best way to help the community is for everyone to boycott this garbage mode and not play it... Then maybe Netmarble will see most people don't like to watch the cpu play for them while they watch... Maybe stop spending any kind of money and or just not play until they add other ways to get T4 materials instead of GBR and WBL...

Here's the easiest advice, just skip this BS mode. Instead of actually fixing the modes everyone complains about and hates, they decided to double down and give us yet another mode that is exactly like the one everyone hates and doesn't like unless you're a loser whale and pay thousands upon thousands of dollars to win... Just more worthless inventory spaces being used without them giving people more space, yet another BS stat so they can get even more money from the idiot loser whales... They are just milking as much as they can, don't be shocked when the game dies soon and all your money is wasted...
It's been a fun 8 Yrs but I'm going to uninstall the game game soon

Remember, this shill is going to say whatever he can to try and keep this garbage going. He has wasted so much money, that he wouldn't know what to do once it's gone because everything he has tried to do besides MFF it fails and doesn't take off... This Soy Boy gets better odds/pulls along with other free things from Netmarble for all the promoting he does... He has to kiss their ass and promote everything to continue... Sure he'll act like he's throwing shade, but it's interesting how he's soooo into this mode when he hates Alliance Conquest when this is virtually the same thing... Sure you don't have to wait odd hours to be able to play, but what's the point when you can't control any of the characters. It's dumb to just watch the AI play and it doesn't even play the right way...

For now jean has defense decrease and damage decrease and she is meta all ready if for next season jean wasn't band then we will have hard time with jean . Bro jean with these efect is better then everyone it doesn't work at all
