I'm curious if there's ever been a fight won with Foot stomping? I've noticed it's something that's done here and there, but not to the extreme or not used to end the fight. I know it's hard to break bones in your foot, but a bunch of really heavy stomps would do it sooner or later. One would think that breaking some bones in the foot would give the stomper a distinct advantage.

That's what I thought too, but I think he was in shock from it, and two little taps on the chin made his toes curl up. Nasty, but as long as he's not bleeding inside or busted ribs, he didn't sustain any long term injuries. I noticed he was completely unable to defend the head, so he might well have gone out from the kick.

I've seen this on multiple fights on this channel, where they break a clench up if there's only knees happening. Now, I know MMA is blatantly promoted for the best knock outs and breath-taking moments. But surely isn't the leader of the clench and the person using knees and clench-punches still obtaining points? And ultimately those points/actions can lead to a positive round result? If the stance was stagnant, fair enough, but like I said, this has happened in several fights. Please correct me if that's not how a win decision is made if a WHOLE round were to be braces and clenches. (Like if two predominately BJJ/wrestling backed fighters were to create holds for a whole round, wouldn't the smaller striking actions and general overpowering from the leading fighter decide in a round win result? Or would the round be void for being too boring?) This particular channel seems to be more about a violent result for maximum views/possible promotion than the actual sport itself. This fight alone, although both fighters would very much kick my arse, Janbo gassed at R2, throwing uncomplicated and seemingly unrevised weapons from his arsenal. I just don't buy this. Chidi needed the fight to complicate at the fence to start his work to ground, and I feel that was stolen from him when the match was reset SEVERAL times. Especially for the reason of 'no movement'. When body parts were literally hitting each fighter plus the clenching of hands were totally being worn down to undoubtedly to be outstretched which may lead sometimes to a possibility of chances to ground or (if very lucky) a standing sub, just how could the ref dispute movement and deny a whole fighting style? Movement isn't just a hay-maker. Janbo has strength, but nothing more than that and his length. Chidi was robbed a debut for a ref who couldn't pay attention to something for more than 30 seconds. Regardless of his 'God-like beard', I resent it, as both his decisions and reffing were really quite terrible.

Why is the referee speaking Spanish to the Brazilian fighter? I’m not trying to be an asshole he’s a great ref 👍, it’s just curious to me that he chose to learn Spanish over Portuguese especially in the UFC where a lot of guys speak Brazilian Portuguese.

Is it just me or is this some of the worst fight commentary ever??? I have never heard of either of these fighters before today, but I could have done a WAY better job analyzing their strategy and the progression of the fight, instead of talking a load of random nonsense. FIRE THEM!

That is how I felt, way too much time spent clinched against the cage. Only good part was the 5-10 seconds where the knockout happened. Even the couple stuns weren't exciting because Njokuani didn't follow up.
