You won't believe it - but the musicians were all 16-17 years old when this track was recorded back in 1977... (except for the singer who was a 10 yeras older than them and already had experience with another band before that)
Wow, great imagination for such a young bunch!
Very impressive! Another proof that the 70ies where the best music of all time Thank you!
I was so fortunate to have a radio show in the 70's being able to play the great music of that decade, bands like Gentle Giant, Hawkwind, Focus, Can, Genesis, Kraftwerk, Deep Purple, Roxy musiic and so many more. Love finding bands like this from the 70's that were unavailable to me at the time.
amen
@@zaxmania The wonders of discovering never fades out when one has eyes to see. ;)
The bassist is amazing. Just churning out these endless notes.
Listening for the first time, and getting my mind blowed! What a beautiful work those guys made it! A explosion of sounds! Congrats from Brazil!🤘🏻
It was the offers of this old wild world > to live, to share, to occupy, to have fun and to live together. Unfortunately we have been so focused on the era change that we haven't had the time or the consciousness to organize but the Spirit is still there, waiting to be recognized and made aware again and again until that it is everywhere in elevation towards the paradise of utopians and other unconscious dreamers 💃
What a great piece of prog music!!
Cross Pink Floyd/Rush/Yes//ElO, GG, '70's frikken rocked!
Yes. It sounds familiar.
Such a beautiful random click. Jon Anderson atmosphera
As you stroll through the meadows of the present, you can pick bouquets of crazy and improbable flowers, come back with sumptuous extracts from these sensitive and flayed musicians and tell yourself that you sometimes save time ignoring so much of these redundant & futile contemporary musics to gain strength and fullness 🕊️
When they break into these beautiful melodies as I smoke my pleasures on a warm early spring evening I harken for the summer and all of it's wonderfulness and will listen to this lp over the course of it all as I have for a mere 2 summer's now, a symphonic progger from the early days I am, but only recently discovered Atmosphera. Thank you.
First time I've heard this band..Very impressive, high quality progressive rock... Superb!!
One´s gotta love such bass playing....
Very nice. First time hearing this band. 65 years old and it’s better late than never! Thanks for sharing this with us! Love it. ☮️❤️
Whoah! These guys are awesome! I never heard of them before! An Israeli art-rock band, not to be confused with the Brazilian art-rock band of the same name. Thank you for uploading this!
wow, mind blown. this is special music, and i agree if you like yes, floyd, gabriel era genesis, you will probably like this. influenced by the greats, but innovative in its own right, cuckoo is something else.
A tall order to imitate YES . Flash showed it could be done . This has the complexity and musical chops that Flash didnt try to fake , wisely . So it can done with mood only - or full blown virtuosity .
Lead singer does sound a bit like Jon Anderson, noticed that on first track ! Coincidence?!
@@ksjoyjespeace I know nothing about this band , but this is a great album .
@@ksjoyjespeace In timbre yes. But I don't think Jon is this traditional.
I like YES!! BUT this record alone can probably sweep away ALL of YES'S catalog!!??.. . JS.🙌🤣🤷
@@miguelcruz2682 Ive been listening to this more carefully . Some of the passages seem impossible to play . How the heck did they do it ?
Shades of Yes and Starcastle - Nice stuff
Are you familiair with Nektar - Journey to the Centre of the Eye?
I love how loud the bass is! ^^
me too!!!!
Love that too!

3 16+ Minute Tracks...1 7+ Minute Track & A 10+ Minute Track...Now That's My Kind Of Absolutely Splendid Prog Rock...
I don't know what to say......TREMENDOUS!!!!! First time I've heard it and they are exceptional... One more example, like so many, that people are not divided into borders..... Obviously, the minority of those of us who listen to music with meaning, discipline, passion, technique, work "together" and, certainly... VISION !!!....we find here an excellent work... that shows that the hit lists are just the fiction created for the "mass of people"...... ....as some absurd saying goes "the good stuff is little"... well, little maybe, .....but transcendent..... THANKS TO WHOM WHO PUT THIS ALBUM ON THE INTERNET SHOWCASE, SO THAT WE LISTEN TO IT AND MAKE IT PART OF US ALSO !!!!!! THANK YOU !!!!
Is there any specific reason you call it tremendous? Gitars? Drums?
Beautiful! I find similarities with some YES stuff. Prog rock of 70-ties (Pan-European) has always been the backbone of my musical taste!
Una maravilla. ¡Es una obra maestra!
Auténtico Rock Progresivo de los 70s!!! Thanks emBLICko cada día aprendo más
thank you for following... :D be safe... (y)
A essência do verdadeiro progressivo.Álbum Maravilhoso!!!!!!!
This is great
This is so marvelous and esotheric enthralling ,WoW!
SUPER ALBUM !!!
Lady of Shalott best bass line of prog rock ever.... Alon Nadel thx!!!!! Šhalom IZRAEL!
such a well thought out album. got this bookmarked and it really hits the prog-spot every once in a while.

My 3 favorites bands of all time are also: pink Floyd, yes, and genesis 👍👍👍

GREAT.THE ATMOSPHERA GROUP OF MEDINAT ISRAEL IS THE BEST PROGROCK BAND EVER
uh, not. It's nice and commendable but doesn't even stand up to Genesis 2nd LP Trespass as far as writing, singing, playing though the drummer is more interesting than Mayhew(?) was. Mainly, the writing vamps too much between two chords too often and the vocals are weak. how can you possibly think it's the best prog ever?
@@kennywowie you sound like such a snob lol
@@kennywowie yes, the singing is really a bit weak, if in the first piece the singing with Jon Anderson still manages to some extent, in the second piece there is often only a squeaking in the higher registers. But the instrumental side of the first two pieces is done very skilfully. Great prog rock👍
complex & fine music needs listening attention to enjoy
true :)
Una meraviglia per le mie orecchie
grandiose!
Muito nostálgico top dos prog.. parabéns ..!!!👽👽👽
Excellent!
This is RAD
SONZEIRA DEMAIS , SE TA DOIDO, LOUCURA ! TOP !!
Stupendo!
Una super belleza!!!
kalmisima una maravilla
What is this wow the keyboards 😮
Yes goes Genesis. Excellent! 👍🏻
No, no, no. This is nothing like YES, or Genesis. That takes nothing away from its worthiness.
@@Leisesturm - You have got to be joking, this sounds exactly like Yes and a bit like Genesis. Don't be so stupid.
@@warmswarm Stupid because I (still) don't agree with you? OK. I'm stupid then. I listen to the music, just because the drummer has a similar sound to Bruford doesn't mean he is Bruford (or White), or that the rest of the music follows a YES like patterning. Yes did go through several 'sounds'. Fragile and Close to the Edge are not Tales or Union etc. I'm still not hearing the tie to this. That takes nothing away from it's worthiness or prog cred.
@@Leisesturm - You are in one serious state of denial. You need to get your ears tested sunshine, it sounds so much like Yes, I've never heard a band sound more like Yes. Oh, and have a happy Christmas.
I think it was recorded 1977 and never released since 2002 !! A great israelic band for 1 album.!975 -1978 for some live gigs. In 1975 every bandmember was around 16 years old and one of them must have had aturntable and a YES-LP! - therefore it shows what was going on in this aera of civilisation. A worldwide "conspiracy" of peaceful soundexplorers, that really were able to play a real instrument and make improvisations and compositions!
Sounds like "ETHOS (Ardour)" too !! Ever heard of ETHOS ? American band, their Bass player would later join "EMPIRE" featuring Peter Banks formerly of YES...
Awesome
Thank you for the nice file! God bless you!
very good.....................................................................................
Thanks Shalott!
SUPER ALBUM !!!!

Absolute wonderfull
Excellent!!!
Been deeply into Prog since the '70s. Don't know how this one slipped through my music world. Nevertheless happy to have discovered it on your channel (just subscribed). Thanks for sharing this wonderful magical talented band from the '70s. Cheers.
Read about them through the link I posted.
The album is really amazing. Certainly a short pressing when being released far back in the 70's. Therefore, quite hard to find it I suppose.
It was first released in 2002. Recorded in the late 70s but not released at the time.
Superb .from france
Definitely influenced by the legendary " YES ", incredible how this music slipped through time without getting famous.
Maravillo gracias
remember`me`yes.
They remind me of Yes!
trueee
They remind me of Wallenstein
Camel too
hermoso
Muito bom!!!
Muy bueno
Bra album o band.
Very good
This is darn good.
Thats pretty cool 😎
Last track reminds Genesis on Cinema Show.
God, how many Yes clones were there?
Bandassa!!
Good stuff!... Hand-played and tape-recorded....
Great. It is something like the voice of Jon Anderson and the work Echoes from Pink Floyd.
It sounds like the voice of Jon Anderson and sometimes remember me Echoes from Pink Floyd. Very nice experience of good progressive rock.
How did anyone find time to watch Star Wars with all this great music coming out that year?
Most were restricted to what was played on Top Forty AM stations. I was lucky, my 68 Impala (that my dad got me in 1968, I was 16) had a FM radio. There were some college stations that played different music.
@@daddio7249 wow , so you were ahead of the rest in your musical journey , that's so cool , got my first radio in 76 , was obsessed with it , gave me so much freedom to dream, create and expand mind and spirit . I had my own world to escape to , it was incredible Daddio it really was ;D
Good stuff!! Reminds me of Yes. Which is good.
