Fishing Is All About The Feeding! | How I work my peg out | THE SESSION

2023 ж. 28 Там.

I got chatting at a recent match and a viewer explained to me that he wanted more detail, less cuts and a more information rich version of our videos. So I thought I would film a full session and keep the editing to a minimum only taking breaks when batteries need changing/checking.
I'm hoping you will appreciate the detail, why I up or decrease my feed, change lines and make decisions!
ENJOY :)

  • Joe, I think this is the best honest fishing video ever! You and Jon Arthur are the top presenters here on KZhead IMO! Not forgetting Jamie Harrison as well!

  • I love this video and the float cam is brilliant for showing the difference in feeding, I always get the catties out before the pole pots🤫 my mate fished that peg in a match not long ago and he refused to fish the spot you’re fishing and used a method and a waggler , I think you caught more fish in the first hour than he did all match, he did have some lumps though, I was in no man’s land almost opposite you on the straight two pegs going away from the bridge peg, I had a baby carp and skimmer long and a carp took me into the willow as I was shipping back on the left of the willow towards the bay, I caught all my fish just going down the near shelf As for hooks I used a size 16 mwg which is very similar to an old Mustad power carp pattern but only an eyed version from Guru and love the really odd shaped Kaizen, I do use mustad hooks which are very similar to B911 hooks and am gradually stocking b611 and b911 so the mustad and kamasan are mixed up now which I use in winter or colder weather or Guru F1 which are amazing The float cam really does highlight how you can’t control the float even in the slightest breeze, Ps; where are the Mallards and Moorhens 🙂

  • I’m not going to lie Joe, this is my kind of format. I could easily watch a 5 hour match just like this. I was looking back at some of the stuff Preston used to do, surely whilst you were behind the camera, the go pro and bite takes were magical, akin to this. Great content and I’d be interested in knowing if you do any coaching, you know, in all your spare time! 😊😂😊 👏👏👏

  • Good video showing what goes through the mind when fishing and trying to catch as many as possible. Nice to see what most of us Match Anglers and pleasure anglers do at some stage of the match to try and increase catch rate. Well done Joe, most of what you did looked very familiar. Keep them coming. Cheers

  • Nice video Joe. I do like the occasional video where you get a chance to get into the angler's head as it were, getting an idea of how they're thinking through the session and why they're making changes. There's been the odd rare, almost magical one, where I've really felt like I was completely in tune and thinking along with the angler, I just wish I'd remembered to save links to them at the time because I can't remember which videos they were now. Didn't recognise that dark pole pot you were using for most of the video, something in the pipeline maybe?

    @advl4200@advl42008 ай бұрын
    • If you've never done pole fishing before go for a 10 meter margin pole as there normally a bit cheaper but are just as good as a full length pole performance wise

      @stephenpyner4156@stephenpyner41568 ай бұрын

  • Not sure if you noticed whilst you were fishing to the Far bank but the wind was causing the water to rise by at least an inch then down again which would have made your bait if on the deck rise and fall accordingly. Could this have contributed to the fish not taking the bait on some occasions?

I'd like to try it and compare it to method feeder fishing with presentation of different baits against pellets ... P s give these bands a listen to... Temple balls, altaria.
