I’m old school, I won’t upgrade until every wall is maxed out, it just looks so nooby when I see a 12 with th 9 walls
It also doesn't hurt that bases look way more intimidating when they're maxed out, makes you rethink attacking a base when he has fully maxed out walls and defences and it looks damn good to.

In short: Max out your buildings (walls are optional) Attack the same THs or higher Utilize gold passes and the boosts If all your buildings (walls optional) are max, up your TH even if your troops aren't max

What about lab. I have maxed everything in th10 including walls and heroes but my lab has 4 months time to complete all

Important is when you upgrade your townhall that you do not only have good defenses but also have enough skill to upgrade your townhall
I usually upgrade everything to the max level allowed by TH before I upgrade to the next TH
@Mawablem rush your defences but don't rush your troops. My strategy is upgrading to next town hall after maxing resource(storage, mine, collector, drill) and offense(camp, lab, hero and barrack).Usually i only upgrade farm troops then upgrade to next Town Hall

Here’s a tip, don’t use dark elixir armies. I used one during th9, it was IMPOSSIBLE to max the heroes. Come th10, I used elixir based army and had no hero problem, and finished right on time

Its soo funny that i rushed to th11 a year Earlier and now when i started to play again it is actually easy to max (untill 11 because,12/13 takes more than a week per building)
Strategic rushing is fastest way to reach maxed th13, about 1-1.5 years faster than maxing.
@@lool12366 yeah lot of people doesn't know that rushing upto th9 is the right thing to do in coc because of the high lvl loot . Th9 is great for de and also now coc upgrades for th9 building takes a lot less time

Judo, as clan leader and an experienced player, i get asked this question from clan mates all the time. I usually try to tell them most of the things in this video. Now I can just tell them to come watch this video! Great Tips, especially the loot penalties. I feel so many players don't take this into consideration.
Literally had only walls for TH12 was on the fence about upgrading but just upgraded to TH13 because of this video. Walls are such a grind even with the 20% discount, great video

Hi judo great content as always. The boost you mentioned is also available when we open an account after a very long time(5-6 months) . I just checked in one of my old accounts and saw that I got a boost for 5 days along with 4x star loot
The time where I will upgrade the TH is when you upgraded everything ( walls is not really recommended to max with) and also because there's an update I need to have a book of building and or hammer of building for the laboratory to have greater coverage with the new troops and troops that really cap the level of the laboratory

Before the newest update, witch slap was easy for my th9 account. After the newest update, now my healers like to leave from the witches and go to the troops that I send in the middle behind the golem, and this tends to mess up the attack really bad.
wow, it though the only attack to 3 star in a war was lalo hero dive, its the only attack I can use on my th9

So much to consider. But that five day boost is friggin' brilliant. And I do believe that when you upgrade the TH you get a special offer that can also really help get you going. I think it was about $20 but the things you received were epic. I think it gives you the Eagle and some other very high profile buildings. Can't remember, been so long since I did it. Maybe it was another Inferno Tower? Well, what ever, but if you can afford it, it's magic. And make sure code Judo is entered! lol Great video. I have been playing a long time and I never knew how it calculated loot. And those hammers are OP.
Great video, but don’t forget the hero/troop upgrades with a new TH. I held off upgrading my TH until now so that I can get the auto +5 level hero boost and after I hammer my lab, all troops at the next TH in time for the next CWL. More important to me than farming as I’m timing it with the end of the gold pass season.

I will upgrade everything, EVERYTHING! It takes a while (that’s why I only just got to th9) but I used to rush and it was annoying, I love maxing out now, seeing my progress base with everything on the finished side gives me some insane dopamine hits Even when I get to a new town hall level, my first priority is to get all my new defences, walls and traps to the same level as my other stuff

For rushers as long as your gain is increasing (more loot at high levels minus more loot you loss on defense) you can upgrade. Since you can upgrade the same thing faster. So for example if you are an active player, you loot by attack will increase more than loot lost on defense, you can go up townhall sooner. If you are less active, you should be less aggressive in rushing.
I have one account that is pretty good but it’s behind on heroes and troops with one level of wall behind, one account that is dedicated to rushing and not upgrading any defences and one account that is completely anal about upgrading everything

i personally think loot penalty is not as important as it is nowadays. but, I personally think that its more important to learn the strategies for every townhall. how to do them, how to deal with new defences. and i think, if you take the time to max your base, you will learn a lot while farming. you can rush whatever you want with a second account(thats what i did hehe, but do it strategically). i think the biggest mistakes people make is not upgrading heroes and lab.

That is the reason I always upgrade my walls and heroes first with some offensive buildings so my builders are always busy with 2 being on the heroes and 3 being on offensive buildings and in parallel I collect resource to upgrade walls and as soon as offensive buildings are done I start defensive with walls

I’m currently TH11 and I have a total of 1 month till I’ve maxed out everything… Structures, Heros, Walls, Traps, Troops, DE Troops, Spells and DE Spells. This is my only account, I buy the gold pass (Monthly) and plan to upgrade to TH12 next month. My plan is to save the Books I get from September’s gold pass and also buy a few additional books from the daily deals tent. I will also be buying the $20 TH12 pack to instantly get the Workshop. I’ve been lining up what upgrades will get books and which will get hammers.

Hi Judo. Just need your advise. I’m at TH 10 and as much as possible i wanna max everything before upgrade to TH11. Im just finishing upgrading the gold mines and some traps left and im good, as well as some spells. However my king and queen are not yet max. My king is at 26 and my queen is at 31 (max is at 40). Can i upgrade to th11 after all my upgrades or should i wait for them to be maxed out before upgrading to th11??? I badly need your advise. Thanks in advance! Keep safe
You should upgrade the TH and then use the hammer or a book on the lab. That way you get the boost from the TH upgrade and you can start the troop upgrades right away.

I think this depends on how you play your game. This interested in competitive war and league play then you should max. But if you're casual in war then you can rush a bit.

I hope Supercell will add a feature so you can let work multiple builders on one buildung... I am a th9 currently and all that is left to upgrade are my heroes... It takes a lot of time and my other builders are just sleeping... That's kind of an issue..

Earlier, I upgraded to th9 as I couldn't upgrade walls using elixir in th8, which caused me to have a massive surplus of elixir
Right now i am in legend mostly thinking of dropping trophies to make use of that boost also thinking of using the hammer of lab to ise max troops for those 5 days.

personally I like to max *EVERYTHING* before upgrading to the next town hall, nothing is an exception, no matter how expensive it needs to be maxed out first then I upgrade, idk why but i like to take it very slow with the upgrades, and also seeing a maxed out base to their perspective town hall is very satisfying
Then you'll waste your builder time by waiting for troop upgrade for weeks.
