  • Yes!!! Ugh, I thank you soooooo much for this wonderful somatic practices.🙏 Im soo anxious and tired, this helps so much. Thank you for helping all of us digest our emotions. And the no music makes me focus so much better on the present. I can tell how much you pour into these videos. It's so impressive, but obviously, no pressure to keep doing videos if you are too tired to, just what you have done is enough, love. Literally love u

  • Thank you so much for these meditations!! I know that perhaps I'm asking for too much, but do you by chance have any advice for people struggling with addicions? I detest to keep on falling on this trap and I'm so tired of it, but it's been years and it's frustrating not to see any change. It's so terrible to come back to the same place of defeat over and over

    @ravaiiiii@ravaiiiii7 ай бұрын
    • I don’t struggle with substance use disorder (have some behavioural addictions, though) so take my advice with a grain of salt but i would try to identify what are the obstacles to your recovery. For example, maybe you are not replacing the unhealthy coping method that addiction is with healthy coping methods and that, paired with chemical dependence, is making it hard for you to recover? Maybe you don’t have healthy emotion regulation tools? If so, I would suggest looking into DBT. Maybe your environment is keeping you stuck (for example, my environment is keeping me stuck and reliant on self-ha m because it pushes me past my limits in a negative way). Substance use is also a frequent companion to other disorders that sometimes go undiagnosed (cluster b personality disorders, like bpd which i have, for example, have high rates of substance use). Remember you are not a failure. It’s not your fault you are finding it hard to recover, it’s an individual process for everyone. You can do it. My dad recovered from alcoholism when he was 60 - to everyone, he seemed like a lost cause. But he wasn’t. (He died of something unrelated to his alcohol addiction)

    • @@persapphone hey, thanks for the caring advice!!! I just did the meditation again, and it actually made me understand the roots of the adiction way more deeply than I imagined it could be. I'm starting to understand why it's so important for us to be kind to ourselves, we've been through a lot. I deeply hope you get better too! You've been so kind to me, a total stranger, and I'm relly heartwarmed by that. You are an extraordinary human being
