  • I live for archaeology and appreciate the importance of it. But I don't agree with archaeologists digging up every grave they find from antiquity and storing these peoples remains in a warehouse. If the find is of historical significance and knowledge can be obtained from it. I understand that, but I believe the bodies in most cases should be left alone and or reburied with the utmost respect.

  • The body is left behind and the spirit is light. I had a near death experience and saw myself above my body with the Lord as a shining spirit telling me, "It is not your time." I realize few believe this, but I know who I saw and he pushed me back into my body by placing his hand upon my back. I was touched by the Lord and no one will ever convince me it was not Our Lord. He lives!

    @pjgraves03@pjgraves033 ай бұрын
    • We have the same experience but I wasn't in near death. I was just sleeping, when I saw myself floating above my body. I'm a ball of energy hovering around. I never saw God nor hear his voice because I was so scared that I force my spirit back to my body. I remember that time I was seeking. Seeking the truth. I prayed that he reveal himself to me. I guess that was the answer. I'm learning now how to not be scared everytime I get out of my body so I wont have to go back quick and hopefully. Hopefully I can hear God's voice. 😊

    • @@crimenotes3643 I wasn't breathing and my husband phoned 911. I was on my back laying in bed, yet I was also against the wall with the Lord at my right side. I looked at my 5 yr old son and was told in a monotone voice "He will be fine.". The paramedics came in and to this day I do not recall what procedures were taken. I looked at my boy and heard, "He will be fine." once again. The Lord told me, "It is not your time." and he pushed me back into my body. I didn't want to return to this evil world full of chaos, hate, lies and tears, but the Lord pushed again saying "It is not your time.". I was taken to the hospital and would not allow anyone to touch me. There was an unnatural energy throughout me I will never forget and I believe the Lord gave this to me to get past a horrible time in my life. I understand a portion of the Trinity as I seemed to be everywhere in the room with the Lord watching all that was occurring until I was breathing again. The years that followed have not been easy but his words were true. "It's not your time.". My son is fine as well. He has a beautiful family with his daughter now attending college, his son entering high school, his wife is beyond amazing and he has his own carpentry business. But, he won't talk about what occurred.

Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’” Blows my mind how many sheep swear by such a corrupt book as the bible, written by anonymous writers. Some really cool videos are RON WYANTS bible historical finds . I think after reading the Bible you will find them fascinating. All of us here earth bound are heading to satan cus we’re rotten to the core and odds are we will be that way until we realize what we are doing and turn away from those choices and try to make conscious choices that are in the best interest in our well being and well for our soul both physically and emotionally and love and help each other when one of us becomes conflicted or sick . But even that won’t give us eternity with God but if that’s truly what you want after you read the Bible then fall to you’re knees and acknowledge that he gave his only son for you’re sins and he rose from the grave 3 days later. Ask him to allow the the Holy Spirit to guide you . Good luck and God speed and I love you .

It might come across as insensitive for me to say but if no one was going to make the effort to study the tomb and it's contents then everything should have been returned before it was sealed back up again. fascinating to learn about but also sad to think about.

They could do this test with Jesus brother too. 3, They should a least provide an explanation on why the did not do these obvious tests :( 4. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. [59]And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, [60]And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. [61]And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. [62]Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, [63]Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. [64]Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. [65]Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. [66]So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. Here is my opinion ~ Could this be a hoax tomb made by the chef priests and pharisees as a revenge act to try to cover up the truth of the story? See how in verses 62 and 63 that the chief priests and pharisees were already trying to stop the resurrection from happening! After they failed that, could they have made these tombs with inscriptions of Jesus' family's names to try to mislead the movement of the early church? We know that the chief priests and pharisees would have been furious after the resurrection and they would have done anything to try to re-write history. It's one theory that could well be true.

    • The real Christian story and message was carried to all the known World by the Apostles at great and total physical sacrifice and is the reason we have the Gospels and the writings of Paul. All the followers of Jesus Christ went into hiding after Jesus was arrested and Crucified. It would have taken a miracle for his 11 remaining Disciples to emerge with a renewed vigor and mission. Many have examined this and they have determined the following. Had the Crucifixion and Death of Christ been the end of the Jesus story, the remaining Disciples would have returned to their fishing , carpentry, and farming ways before they started following Jesus. The real question is what was the miraculous event, that sent the 11 plus 1 more chosen one to replace Judas, to become the Apostles. The Apostles were endowed with the Holy Spirit and they set out to spread the teaching of Jesus to the known World. The Apostles traveled by foot or common beast like a donkey, to foreign lands that worshiped different Gods. These foreign people would have been incredibly hostile to people like the Biblical Apostles. The Apostles were spit on, cursed, and likely only allowed water and in many cases the Apostles would have been beaten and cursed. Ultimately all the Apostles but one were killed by Crucifixion or other terrible ways. People that did not actually see the Crucified Jesus alive, would NEVER had done what the Apostles did and paid with their lives for the mission unless God was clearly in their cross hairs!!

  • Every year at about this time I get to revisit this documentary which lays down a truly enticing theory of the place where Jesus, son of Joseph was buried and every time I re-watch this my belief ever grows stronger that this has to be where our Savior was laid to rest. What lends credence to it possibly being the Jesus, son of Joseph that I know and revere as a Roman Catholic, is that this family cave was found accidentally, during construction, it could have been demolished, but was reported to the Archeological that the facade of a burial cave with a fish head symbol facing up was unearthed by a bulldozer. There was Eureka moment, in fact the whole cave went through the usual tedious cataloging while the ossuaries were deposited to a warehouse. The archaeologists who examined the find have no religious affiliation or objective but to use what their archaeology degree accorded them. This documentary does not lay claim to anything, yet my heart lay closer here than anything else. It could like be that this occured during our time, using words and terms we all understand so well that may have cleared my skepticism of about 50%. But the coincidence with regards to names mentioned here is simply astounding. Taken altogether, my faith is even stronger now, even if the story laid out here does not align with the Bible. In fact, my faith was not diminished one bit by this Documentary.

Here is why I know the Scholars and Clergy will reject this theory: Possibility of finding Jesus's Bones versus Jesus rising again. Mary Magdeline having more importance in Christianity and possibly being Jesus's Wife. The Tomb containing the Child of Jesus. The possibility is interesting without a doubt but Scholars will not let this be excepted anytime soon. What is the possibility of finding Jesus's Tomb with current thought? • I believe this 100%! The problem with some scriptures being burned and not included and missing, especially Mary mag, Thomas’s teachings puts a strain on modern Christianity; is that some priests think it’s ok to not have a partner and be married. So we have some being sexually corrupt and stray from Jesus’s real teachings. Not all Christian religions do this but some. They made Mary Mag, made it out like Jesus wasn’t married. He wasn’t sinning if he was married and had a child. I admire Constantine the first putting his teachings out as an actual religion but I am disappointed we man centuries later still do not know the truth. One thing I do know that he is the messiah and he still died for our sins. To move his body, makes sense in those tough times as a believer and him appearing 3 days later as a spirit/ soul is still the same; just the body was relocated to a secret tomb. If you do not believe in Jesus; I would say that you should try to invest in having a relationship with him, seek him as your lord and saviour.

    • They didn't have DNA testing in 1980. Remember that at that time, they said that so many tombs were being found that they were inundated with artifacts, so nobody was really paying attention to details like the names. Especially since nobody was looking there for the Tomb of Jesus. But I don't think anyone will ever test those bones. Besides the enormous task of finding the bones and separating them out, as they were reburied in a heap together somewhere, if ever it were proven that this was indeed Jesus but there was some other discrepancy that would upset the religion itself, the world would go crazy!! Like, what if they found DNA evidence that Joseph was actually the biological father of Jesus? Or someone else in the Tomb was his father? I mean, who has God's DNA anyway? If Jesus was a true and mortal person, he has to get his male DNA from somewhere. Do you see the conundrum? There is no way the scientific truth would come out unless it supported what the Bible says. I think religion would implode if something like that happened. Religion is a matter of perspective anyway. You believe because you want to, not because it's proven or not. Nobody alive has ever seen God. So if you believe in him, you don't need scientific proof. My 2 cents worth.

But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs, so that the scripture and prophecy concerning him might be fulfilled. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, which said: A bone of him shall not be broken. 6 And after these things, Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, he being one who had been converted by the words of Nicodemus who spoke secretly of him, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus. 7 And he said unto Pilate: Your Most Noble Honor, I have herewith much money that I might purchase of thee the body of the man that was called Jesus. 8 And Pilate being distraught because of everything that the Jews had desired of him, answered him, saying: I know that this man was a righteous man, and my hands I have washed clean from the works of your people who desired his death. And now, thou comest to me and tempt me with blood money? I want no further cause with this thing. Go, do that which thou desirest with his body, but bring this thing no more to my attention. And with those words, Pilate gave him leave. 9 He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus to a place that he had purchased for his own tomb, he being a very rich man among the Jews. 10 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. 11 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid, and it was this sepulchre that Joseph had purchased for himself. There laid they straightaway Jesus therefore, because of the preparation day of the Jews; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. 12 And they rolled a stone of much weight before the tomb that no one could come there and disturb the body of Jesus. And after the body of Jesus lay in the tomb for three days, on the first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early to be close to him whom she loved with all of her soul. 13 And she came when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, that the Jews and others might not know of the place where they had laid the body. And she seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 14 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to John, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them: They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 15 Peter therefore went forth, and John, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together; and John did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in, for he wept exceedingly for that which he believed had been the desecration of the grave of his Lord and his best friend. 16 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, and the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 17 Then went in also John, who came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed that the body had not been desecrated, but carried off by one who loved Jesus, for the linens were folded neatly within the tomb. 23 And it came to pass that Peter and John had not yet received the Holy Ghost that would testify unto them concerning that which had taken place; for as yet, they knew not the scripture was fulfilled, which said that he must rise again from the dead. 24 Then the disciples went away again unto their own homes. But Mary stood without the sepulchre weeping. And as she wept, she stooped down and looked once again into the sepulchre where they had buried her Lord. And when she looked in this time, she seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 25 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? And she saith unto them, not knowing that they were angels, but believing that they were men who had come with Peter and John: Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. 26 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back out of the tomb. And when she turned around she saw Jesus standing there, and knew not that it was him because of her exceeding mourning and tears. 27 And Jesus saith unto her: Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? 28 She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him: Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. 29 And Jesus saith unto her: Mary, My Beloved Wife, look now upon me. And she turned herself and recognized him from his words, and saith unto him, Baal; which is to say, Husband. 30 And she was wont in her joy to throw herself upon him, but Jesus saith unto her: Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father and cannot touch thee as my wife with the body that I now possess. 31 But go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. And He hath given me my eternal body, which is Celestial like unto His. And I am the first fruits of the resurrection of the Father. 32 Fear not, My Beloved, for as I have promised you, so shall we be together forever in the kingdom of our Father. 33 And Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. 34 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them: Peace be unto you. 35 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side and the marks of his death. And he commanded them that they should come forth and feel his flesh that they might know that it was he. 36 And when the disciples had all come forth and touched him, except for Mary, who did not touch him according to that which he had commanded her in the garden, then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. 37 Then said Jesus to them again: Peace be unto you. As my Father hath sent me to the world to save it from its sins, even so send I you to be saviors of men.

    • Faith is believing without seeing. The account i gave is true. To further supply with His life and mission, as follows: 54 And now this is the thing that I have been commanded to explain to you: Behold, in the beginning we were all equal in the eyes of the Father, having been created by Him of His own will, and given the power of free agency to act and exist independent of Him that we might one day experience the happiness that we desire for ourselves. 55 And in order to experience this happiness, the Father gave unto us commandments in the beginning by which we needed to live in order to have this happiness. 56 And he taught us of His kingdom and the different degrees of glory, or of happiness, that we would one day inherit according to our individual desires of happiness. And He taught us that in order for us to live in these kingdoms, we needed to abide by certain eternal laws, or commandments, that would assure us that we would experience the happiness that we desire. 57 And if we cannot live by these laws, or these commandments, then we cannot live in these eternal kingdoms, because we would not be happy abiding by any other laws, which laws are not the eternal laws of the Father, which laws are the same laws by which He liveth in His kingdom and which bring Him His happiness. 58 And the Father explained to us that it was necessary that we experience life without these laws, even in a world where these laws would not always exist because of the different desires of happiness that each of us possesseth. 59 And in this world where these laws did not exist, we would learn for ourselves, firsthand, that the laws that we are required to live by in the kingdoms of God are indeed the laws of happiness that will assure us eternal happiness forever. 60 And because of His own experience, He knew that many of us would reject the laws of happiness and live according to the dictates of our own consciences, which are selfish in nature and are centered in our own individual happiness. 61 And He taught us that though we would all experience eternal happiness in His kingdom, that there were certain penalties, or denials of happiness, based upon what we would do with our free agency in choosing for ourselves which happiness best suiteth our own interests. 65 Behold, Jesus Christ was he who was chosen in the beginning to represent the Father in this part of His kingdom. And he was called Jehovah by the Father; and he is our brother and equal to all of us before the Father, but hath been given the calling by the Father to assure that all of us receive the opportunity to learn the laws of happiness that we need to know and live by in order to live forever in the kingdom of the Father. 66 And Jehovah came into this world and became Jesus Christ for one purpose and one purpose only; yea, to teach us the laws of happiness, which were taught unto us by our Father, by which we must live that we might be saved in the kingdom of God. And also to show unto us an example of how these laws should be lived; he being this example of the Father. 67 Yea, he gave us the words and the commandments of the Father. 68 Yea, he gave us the example of his works and his actions among men in the flesh, even a perfect example of how these laws must be lived. 69 Yea, he even gave unto us the example of his reactions to the commandments and precepts of men that are not based upon the eternal laws of happiness. 70 And finally, he came into the world to teach the exact same things that we heard of the Father when we all listened to the Father as spirits in His kingdom where we were created, even when the Father presented unto us the fullness of His eternal plan of happiness for us. 73 Behold, Jesus Christ did not die for your sins, nor did he do anything that would take away your sins, except teach unto you the true commandments of the Father, that ye might repent of your sins and keep these commandments. For those things which are not a commandment of the Father are sins. 78 Yea, what was it that he commanded of the people when he said unto them: Except ye keep my commandments, ye shall in no wise inherit the kingdom of God? 79 Yea, what are these commandments and laws of happiness that we must live by in order to experience this happiness forever? 81 Behold, the great and everlasting commandment and eternal law of happiness of the Father who created us all is this: That ye love one another as ye would have them love you. 82 And on this one commandment alone, doth all other commandments and laws stand; and there is none other commandment by which ye must live. 83 Yea, this is the great standard of the Lord. This is the embodiment of the words of Christ and the all-encompassing message that the Father hath given to His children from the beginning. 84 And on this standard, or on the words of Christ, shall all the children of God, yea, even every one, be judged according to their works. 85 Behold, every action, every thought, every reaction, even every time that ye use your free agency to act in the independent state in which ye have all been created, ye shall be judged according to this standard. 86 And if ye cannot love another as ye would have them love you, then ye shall not inherit the kingdom of God, and there shall be found no place in His kingdom for you, but ye shall take your place with those who rebelled against the plan of the Father in the beginning, even with Lucifer and those who followed him.

What I remember was on one side is the inverted V with the circle in the exact spot as the tomb. On the opposite side was a image of the sun. I might not remember exactly, but for some reason I think the sun was carved as a face. When I first saw this long ago I immediately remembered that symbol on that obelisk! • @@calebrowe2004 that’s the damnable thing man. I remember as soon as I saw this documentary that I had seen it before, but I can’t remember the small French town. I just remember in was a small town and the old church sat on a hill. I’ve studied the templars for years and long before this aired I had suspected the Templar’s of discovering something deadly to the church when they were in Jerusalem. I mean look they were a small band of warrior monks who made their headquarters on the Temple Mount where we know they excavated, but what if that’s not all they did. Maybe they found that tomb and understood that symbol. Remember many different symbols were used in the early church, many which have vanished. What we do know is that they suddenly make a B-line for Rome, and get an audience with the pope. When they emerge from that meeting this little sect is suddenly the most powerful sect in the church. They only answered directly to the pope! That’s unheard of! Let’s just think hypothetically. If they found that tomb, and if they found actual bones, perhaps crucified bones! Imagine the power that would give them. It would also explain why pope clement conspired with the king of France to wipe them out overnight on trumped up charges which clement actually admitted to in a old manuscript found in a old French library during the 1980s I think. Not sure of the date. I just know i absolutely saw it and was going nuts when I saw the documentary. There can’t be that many churches In France dating back that far with Egyptian style obelisks standing in front of them. I’ve driven myself nut’s trying to remember but I can’t. I’d spent about a month in France just traveling around to interesting places to meet the people and happened on it. I wish to god I’d taken some photos because I clearly remember that I thought it was odd and wondered what all the symbols on the sides meant. Now, the sun on the opposite side being like a human face I might be wrong about, and my mind simply remembered it that way, but I do know there was a sun directly across from the inverted v on that obelisk. For the life of me I can’t remember the other two symbols on it.

  • An absolutely fascinating film, which to my mind dispenses with the Christ deniers, and the "Jesus never existed" opinions I am 99% convinced that this tomb is what it appears to be, but it has shaken my faith not one jot. One question I do have, and that is that the child's ossuary "box" is very small, indicating that it was only a baby or small toddler interred in it. Nothing was said about that. The builders of the apartments were very careful not to destroy the tomb. They have done us a great service.

  • This is very interesting to watch. As the documentary progresses, more and more questions are answered. I just recently found out that Jesus have siblings through one of the gospels. And my 85 year old Christian granny would not believe it and would still stick to the church’s teachings that Jesus is an only child and that Jesus did not have a wife. If these in the documentary were indeed plausible, the Catholic church with all their money, should have dug deeper into it.

    • Organized religion is not interested in facts. They are interested in a belief system that pays dividends. Buddhism had an image of Buddha and Christian bosses decided they also needed an image in order to compete.Literacy was rare, so an image was necessary to convince the masses to believe. Marketing was, and still is, the most important part of business. Jesus is the marketing tool used, and the color of his skin and eyes changes with the demographic of the region targeted for convincing.

    • Though there is no biblical or secular historical for Jesus ever being married (made up by His distractors), He certainly was not an only child. According to Matthew 6:3, Jesus had 4 brothers and two sisters. So if her church is teaching that Jesus was an only child, then they are not following the Bible either! Regarding the video, the reason not much was made of this news discovered in the 80s is because, not even the non-Christian community felt it was news. Jesus' family wasn't even from Jerusalem, Nazareth was their home town (Galilee), and Bethlehem was Joseph's ancestral home. Plus, there is strong tradition, also supported by Eusebius, that Mary died in Ephesus. Of the 1,000 ossuaries unearthed by 1996, 6 of them carried the name "Yeshua," and two of the six said "Jesus, son of Joseph." According to Tal Ham (one of Israel's experts on Jewish and early Christian history), back in the first century, "Mary" was the most common name for women and Joseph was the second most common name for men. The filmmakers seemed to use whatever language best suited their argument. For instance, when looking at "Mary," they look at it through a Latin filter (which would have never been used by an ancient Jew), and then another name looked at through a Greek filter. So many different languages in the same tomb wouldn't make sense. And when they say that "Mariamene" refers to "Mary Magdalene," there is no foundation of this in any historical or linguistic studies of the time. Also what they fail to mention is there could have been forgeries at that time to discredit Christian beliefs. There's a lot more than that, but I've said enough.

  • I think it's plain to see that after watching this amazing documentary that the church don't want to find the real Jesus as he is much different than the one portrayed in the bible. If he has bones and a family grave then he didn't transcend into a higher being upon his death. His story is a very human one of fighting for a minority and becoming immortalized for his sacrifice. The fact that many gospels were dismissed and only the ones that fit the ideology of the roman emperor has never sat well with me. I respect the fact that many find solace in faith and that's an amazing thing but to dismiss the true origin of that faith is a crime in itself.

    • Problem is Jesus Himself repeatedly asserted He was God in the flesh and not an sjw hippy and that He would rise from the dead.. literally He was crucified for that very reason.. nobody crucifies a lunatic sjw and has hundreds of followers die for a fool. There's good reason why nobody uses this argument to deny Christianity... all sources acknowledge that Caiaphus had a tomb for Jesus and had Pilate's soldiers guard it.. and they themselves testified it was empty on the third day. The apostles are not burying the bones of a fool and dying for it and a staunch pharisee in Paul is not going to convert for a dead fool in Talpiot. This is most likely a vandalized forgery like the 'James brother of Jesus' ossuary.. it is well established that back in the first centuries there was a lot of attempted forgeries to discourage the growth of Christianity.. along with the names in Judea at this time being all too common to use this as evidence. If you want to discredit what Jesus Christ Himself stated that He was the messiah... then you would have had to test the bones for DNA samples and link them with the bloodlines, look for wounds from blunt force trauma on the bones and you would have to have any kind of documentation that shows a burial like this could have happened. There is no evidence bar common names coincidentally matching common names in scripture.

  • Wow!! I am so happy to see a film like this. Time must be getting very short. satan will stop at nothing to discredit The Son Of Man.!! *** I have said this a thousand times: There is a war going on and we are caught in the middle of it. Obviously satan could not overthrow God, so he is going after one of God’s greatest creation.......us. Christ Himself warned us this will happen and He also tells us to rejoice when we see things like this. The people who make films like this only increase my faith to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Even worse you teach it to the masses and use it to justify your despicable actions. Im 100% certain "God" in any form does not exist. If he or she did exist then he would've open palm slapped 99% of worlds population. Can we just 86 religion and colonise mars instead?

  • Two books worthy of study/inquiry are the "Urantia Book" and "Jesus My Autobiography". In each of these books the body of Jesus, after crucifixion, is said to have been ( by non-physical, spirit/energy/will) instantaneously decomposed ( basically turned into dust). The spirit-self (Jesus), being released from the body, determined to produce a second form which resembled the first so that he was able to demonstrate to others that 'death' had not touched him, that he continued to be (alive) subsequent to the body's destruction. The first book was published in the 1950's. The Autobiography (channeled) was published in 2015.
