it's hard to get this level of sincerity here on KZhead, very much appreciated!
so epic bro...its like youre talking directly at me as i'm [ironically] watching you while procrastinating finishing an edit that i'm so deep into i can't abandon, but secretly want to. just found you today and have already taken so much inspiration from your edits. your sound design is awesome and it totally makes sense now that you are a secret dj.
Am I the only one that now wants more of this kind of videos? Well, the video worked cause now I want to know more about this new hobby!
Very refreshing to hear you talk about this matter. I really appreciate your sincerity in your videos and how you seem to stay true to yourself and your viewers.
Loved this! Picking a mini-hobby is, for me at least, a great way to get back into a creative groove. Maybe a video about building custom studio speakers next? One can only hope! Keep on building
I love how your using the OG headphones when making your beats
I love doing things im not told to
Excellent concept for a video. And BTW, I love speaker stands and DJ stuff too. Nice way to pull it all together.
Hi Morley, I've been binging your videos these past two days, and you are such in inspiring person. You show how its being made, you include that making connections is really useful and just right there I contacted someone in my network. And she was really enthousiastic! I also really liked that you made your own wood finish, in the fall almost all of our forests here are filled with chestnuts, which is exactly what made me think to make my own finish as well. Sell it for a very reasonable price instead of those expensive priced ones. You're very authentic when making your videos, which is just great. It makes you feel connected while watching, keep it up man! Will definitely play your first song once it comes out!
It feels like most youtubers are doing this trying to please the algorithm. Not every video needs to be a winner that gets a billion views. I didn't even really enjoy your channel when I first found it, but now I watch everything when it comes out. If it's boring, I crank up the play speed more than usual, but I still watch them. There are a ton of woodworking channels, but not a lot that are really really worth watching everything. (I'm currently at 61 people that I an subscribed to and watch everything they put out . Sadly some no longer even put videos out.)
Your content is awesome Morley! Thanks man, big inspiration. This one hit home for me.
Cheers! Sidebar: the Bob Dylan shirt-wearing DJ reminded me of my favorite Zimmie quote, and it relates to the video "trick." "You ain't no rebel at all, unless you rebel against the devil." That's meta-layering on a par with this video! 🤔😉
15k …and Morley, thank you for being transparent with us. I love that you love house music and you are passionate about music that moves you. I also love house/techno music and I also have a dream to make my own tunes while I work full time as a barber. Chase your passion bro.
Don't stop on chasing dreams. That's also one of my hobbies that I think I could get back to. DJ'in and Doing podcasts.... Salute and support on your endeavors Morley!
i love building speakers. i suck at it, but im learning a lot with each project
That really did feel like a back stage pass to the making of your videos along with having a really nice message good luck on the dj hobby
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks for watching 😊
As a programmer, if I decided I want to make an odd octree in the spur of a moment, nobody would care.
Cringe.
I like the speaker stand and might steal this design.
Great video. Thought your speaking engagement at MakersCentral was great! Took away loads from it and was great to meet you. (I was the guy who stopped you in the middle of the show floor right as you arrived)😅
Very well told, Morley! Love your videos - keep it up!
You better....or else, we will be sad.
i made it to the end mate. I usually dig your videos but you`re right. This won`t get millions of views. As long as you`re good with that it`s all good.
Wrote a paper in High School that was about absolutely nothing. It was so unique the teacher said it was the best project he had received all year.
I love your personality and creativity! This video was awesome 😎 thanks for this!
We all love you and not just mom.
Anyone know the link for the graduation watch present?
How about designing the base of the next table first, then the top? You always have so much energy for a creative table top then diminish the result with a badly chosen base. The walnut off cut table as an example, strong aggressive lines, and you put little legs on it to make it look like grandma’s tea trolley?
I love it! Full send!!
Morley what I personally think is unique about you is that you started making woodworking videos without much knowledge about woodworking but a lot of enthusiasm, and you learnt progressively by learning from your mistakes and by listening to people commenting your videos, which honestly is an amazing and involuntary social experiment too. But at the same time you got so much popularity with the pallets format that it may have grown big expectations on you. What I'm here to say is that even when your videos don't get that much of views they are still great to watch because of your always positive personality and constant desire to learn and discover where you can get with your resilience. I admire your youtube project and you as a human being. This video proves how much creative you are!
I would watch every of your Videos. They are entertaining and teaching, as you have some serious leather- and Wood working skills (Concerning the tables, for example) I would love to learn more about. :) I think the most importand thing about your Videos is - you do what you do with Passion. I love that attitude. Keep it on! (Passion like: Giving this speaker stands a nice paint in a nice colour ;) )
Nice to see people being original! D.J. idea sounds actually really rad though imo. Could be handy for future videos, or just playing clubs, but someone is definitely have fun with it!
Can’t wait to hear your first set dude! 🎉
❤🎉 needed this!!!
Very clever, Morley!
I found this video extremely motivational. Thanks Morley !!! Well played.
To be honest, I feel a little sad ,I mean when you see a silly person getting all of the attention for doing something even more sillier than he is and people like you dont get noticed, you really keep me entertained and I hope you don't give up on us viewers 😄.
I love woodworking so much ,and it brings me joy when I see someone who is both in love with it and good at it .
Well, I for one watched the whole thing. Keep doing what you do, and all of us fans will keep watching!
BUT WAIIITT THAT “DONT BE STUPID” WATCH PLAQUE ACTUALLY LOOKED REALLY COOL AND NOW I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT😧😧
Nice speaker stands!
The storytelling in this video is insane
...insanely good?
@@MorleyKert Yes! I hope to see more like this :)

LOL!!! Actually loved the video!!❤❤
Do what makes you happy!
i honestly enjoyed the mystery is this video :D thank you
Amazon yourself some isolation foam for the monitors, otherwise enjoy your hobby! Music can be an amazing reset for the mind and soul ♥
You understand the algorithm
This video shows just how awesomely talented you are. That's All I Have To Say About That.
Agreed. 100%
„Talented“ describes it best! :)
I did it Morley! Finally started my woodworking business. I have been so afraid to start for so many years, and I will say you have inspired me to officially start. You, Cam at blacktail and John Malecki have been the guys that I have looked up to for woodworking. But you sir have sparked something inside me. Success or failure I will learn and gain as much experience as possible. All I can say is thank you!
Congrats.
Congratulations and good luck and hard work on your dream! :)
Bro, u should chase videography, this video is super well done in my opinion
all the speakers in the house stand up!!!
you are doing the contrary of jumping the shark, instead of spreading and monetising an average concept as much as you can, you are challenging everything, and it is perfectly sane and refreshing.
being the first made me confused if this was like a glitch or something
🤘🏼 Rock on dude!
This gives me Peter McKinnon vibes. Excited to watch more. New to the channel. Please make this a variety channel with spur of the moment viral videos. Pivot your market from woodworking and profit, to your first time making money DJing. ^_^
A little reverse psychology always works!!
Go ahead and put your talk up, I’m sure there’s lots of us who would enjoy listening to it!
As a programmer, I agree with you, we have to "kill our darlings", the code quality I've written does not diminish by me having to throw it away, but it will help me grow my skills at the end. But, I have to say I feel a little off about abandoning projects, regardless. But, sometimes we have to follow our muse, and seek what inspires us regardless of the time, sweat, and tears we've spent on a project.
Tanks for the content
Dope start dropping cool beats on your video ! I'll love to hear them
He pushed I too much bye
Genius
Great video, very inspiring
I watched it twice just to show how much of a rebel I am 😂
Stopped watching at 4:34. Still gave a thumbs up.
Honestly, chasing the views while you're able to get them is a good idea. Make hay while the sun shines, cause money is hard to come by and you're doing something you like to make it. Make the cash while you can, everyone needs it.
viewwd at 25k, steep drop off, first month was like 15k and the subsequent 5 months only garnered 9k more
That's absurd
MOOORE 3D PRINT REPAIRS !!!!
I'll be honest, you got me more interested just by dropping the "Boiler Room" youtube channel
I mean... I would listen to your DJ channel if you made one
The reverse psychology is strong in this one
Hey Morley - I was going to suggest you do a bookshelf speaker video and this appeared the day I was to add here as a comment .Mad or what!!!!
15k Viewer :) Break apart the pioners and build a proper wooden speaker box. Will be much better sound. Regards. Leo (ex DJ and Pro KZhead Watcher :)
MIND GAMES
I'll watch any of your videos just because you love your mom so much!
lol the ultimate fourth wall breaking video I’ve probably ever seen on this platform
and you would be correct 🤣
Thanks Morley, I like elephants.
1E-6 closer now.
Touché 😊
With Kevin Costner as a patreon this video MUST reach millions of views!
Did I miss the part where you started converting a van?
*I agree* , ALL of my Million View + Videos are ones i was not even going to upload , As they Are Just Random LOL! Well i had to Delete a few of them with the new youtube crap rules (guns).
Morley, it sure will
Elephants!
Kevin Costner is one of your patrons?!? Nice!!
The trick is probably just to open a 2nd channel and advertise it in the videos on this one. That way you get the correct audience at each channel.
Bro stop doing that, just make and release the content! We will watch it !
Jokes on you, I thought about elephant seals.
Music mixing makes for better videos. Keep it up bro! Also, good inspirational message for those of us who can never decide on anything…
You are a very good KZheadr.

❤❤❤LOVE IT!!!❤❤❤
25K after 8 months. Success. This video will NOT get millions of views! ;-)
I didnt think of orphans😢
Don't tell me what to do.
congratulations on getting someone beside your mother as your top supporter! Keven Costner? wow!
