  • Do not forget about the barrel changing on the MG42, This would be awesome since it was really a important feature to the gun, heres why: Becayse if its high firerate it produced alot of heat.

  • I'm Japanese and I play this game. This animation is so correct. 1vs1 between snipers, US soldiers being sniped in the air, etc. are often seen in the game.

  • In a German defense the Germans would all huddle around their MG42 or 34 and if they were pined and any survivors that were able to find cover the German squad leader would order a charge with their MG covering them while advancing but all German squad tactics would be based around their MG 42 so if the MG42 crew were to get killed the German squad would be doomed

    • You gotta remember this animation is based off experiences from in game. I wish people would huddle around the MG’s though, make it much easier for the Germans to survive.

  • Fun fact: if it wasnt for the American Ghost Division this invasion wouldve been extremely harder as the Ghost Division is a formation of inflatable shermans made to trick the Germans to think they werent invading Omaha instead another beach but as you know the day of infamy took place at Omaha and therefore is was made easier for the Allied soldiers

    • commonwealth soldiers and american soldiers were on completely separate beaches although, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to switch to the canadian/british side of things that would probably take a lot of work though
