#haircare
Following childbirth, I noticed my hairfall but I stayed calm. I acted to remedy it. I chose a health-centered approach. I prioritized my nutrition, eating vitamin-packed foods, specially rich in Folic Acid and Protein. I worked out regularly and practiced meditation for stress management. I avoided tight hairstyles and quit using heated hair tools to prevent hair stress. I even started applying LittleExtrra Coconion hair oil and shampoo combined with a wooden neem comb. The result was hairfall control and the return of my hair.
When I faced hair fall, I followed all the following to effectively reduce it: Include scalp massage into your routine. Don’t use hot water when washing your hair. Protect your hair from excessive sweat. Use a wide tooth neem wood comb to detangle wet hair. Reduce your sugar and junk food consumption. Use natural hairfall control shampoo and hair oil like littleeextra cocconion. Nurture a positive mindset for general well being.
I agree with the silicones I used to use silicones a couple of years ago and my hair was very healthy I heard that silicones are bad for hair so I stopped using silicones for about three years and my hair has changed to the worst.. I started back on silicones a couple a months ago and use a clarifying shampoo every other week and my hair has been a lot better
whats mind boggling to me is its usually curly girls that condemn silicones and then turn around and use heavy butters and oil which behave the exact same way as silicones do, oil isn't water soluble but its somehow different than silicone not being water soluble
AGREED. I went "poo free" which just means that I started using chemical free shampoos and stuff like Purador and Aveeno Apple cider vinegar shampoo which are all silicone free but that really damaged my hair. I think the best way is to balance between the two. Use silicone shampoo regularly and then about once every week using a cleansing one (Neutrogena or Aveeno Apple cider vinegar work wonders to get rid of hair grease)
Yep! This is exactly what happened to me. Silicones can be AMAZING for your hair!
Same happened to me. 🙄

Finally some new information based on research!!! You are the first one I see talking about the positive effects of silicones and often hair-washing and it makes all sense now..!!!
I love how you include chapters in your videos, it make them so well-structured and coherent. Definitely will be trying some of your recommendations in the near future :)
Of course! I know it makes things a lot easier to follow

I appreciate you for providing proven evidence with all the shampoos you’ve mentioned. It’s so informative and just great to know why and how certain key ingredients help our scalp and hair!
Q
i have never watched a video this informative !! you explain things so well and with proven research, it makes me feel so much better when trusting online influencers and i trust you so much (this i my first time watching you) thank you so much this has helped me so much in my hair care journey !! ☺️
I use castor oil and peppermint essential oil on my scalp once a week, leave it on overnight and shampoo with sulphate free and do ACV rinse the day after, I must say my scalp feels healthy, and I have insane hair growth, from shoulder length to waist length in the span of 10 months, ACV really helps sealing in my hair cuticles and makes it shiny and I have 2B/2C hair. Hope that helps those with the same hair type as mine!
i have the same hair type! where did u get the peppermint and castor oils? brand?
@@user-ve3oj9re2k you can get it online! I buy mine online too amazon or iherbs, rosemary and jojoba oil also aids in hair growth. My earlier reply was not showing up so I typed a new shorter one
Can u leave a link for it??
What shampoo do you use ?
@@koala556 I use ogx, will only use sulphate free shampoo (there are many others that are really good too) for my hair type or else it will get really dry and frizzy
So happy to hear someone not bash silicones for a change !! You have the most beautiful hair , thanks for the video and tips ☺️
Exactly. They're really NOT that bad! Same with sulfates!
I’ve seen your videos all over Snapchat but I didn’t see a username. I knew I would love you content but I couldn’t find you, but one day I saw you on my KZhead page and I was so happy that I had found you. I can’t wait to learn how to get beautiful hair just like yours. Thanks for sharing your wonderful tips with us.
found this very informative! thank you for helping us all out in our hair care journey with this!!✨💆🏻♀️
Thank you for emphasizing the fact that you need a clean healthy scalp to have healthy hair. Ever since I started going longer in between hair washes I noticed that my hair looked weighed down, unhealthy and less full. I hate that this no wash trend has gotten so popular. I’m back to shampooing every other day or two days and my hair already looks much better. Thank you for all the informative content and for myth busting some popular claims about certain ingredients. ❤️❤️❤️
Sounds like you’re just blaming a “trend” because you didn’t wash your hair enough I mean you’re an adult right, you can make decisions? Wash your oily hair lmao it’s not the internets fault it’s your incompetence.
AGREE👍
Just wash your hair 2x on wash day
The health and more so the color of your hair is STUNNING!!! just STUNNING!!!!
Biolage has a scalp sync line and the have a shampoo for dandruff and I haven’t tried that one yet but the zinc in the shampoo is great for treating the bacteria that is naturally on the scalp. And then they have a menthol/ peppermint shampoo for oily scalp and I really like it! You should look into that one!
I love the bit about balance when it comes to washing your hair. Everyone is different
Thank you for making this! Please make one for conditioners!
This helped so much! Ever since i cut off my long locks, my hair has been growing verrrry slow! It used to grow so fast and so thick
Thank you, I really needed this😭

I recently fell in love with the OGX tea tree & mint shampoo. I bought some for my boyfriend several weeks ago, thinking that he would like it, but I ended up trying it during our weekend getaway last weekend and I immediately fell in love with it! Not only did the mint make my entire head feel amazing with that cool, tingling feeling, but it also made my hair super soft and shiny. I ended up going on Amazon and ordering the large bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner for myself. I'm hooked!
Girl I’m loving the intro!
We need a brow routine! They look amazing 😍
I get so excited whenever you post! Your vids have helped my hair so much! Have you ever tried pura d’or gold label anti thinning shampoo and conditioner? I was wondering what your thoughts on it are?
The OGX shampoos may be sulfate free, but the second ingredient in their shampoos is usually sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate, which is actually just as harsh as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). It's really quite drying for a lot of people and harsher than sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). I personally don't mind SLES in my shampoos, this is just a heads up for people who try to stay sulfate free. Sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is an ingredient to look out for
Thank you💓💓
Mmmhmmmm
But their Biotin and Collagen is super soft and shiny!! 😍

You could try using oil twice a day on the ends of your hair and also get trim every 3 months. Try using the L'oreal extraordinary oil its really good I hope this helps you.

I love my long hair... You can also eat peppermints and drink peppermint tea it will also help your hair to grow.... I always wash my hair every 4 to 6 days which also helps your hair grow
It hydrate for clean and healthly looking hair. The shampoo deeply cleanses and purifies hair from the roots. While the conditioner nourishes hair to make it soft and shiny

Love your account. I appreciate the time and effort you put in the research. I have one question. I've been using this one shampoo for a couple of weeks and my scalp responds well to it but recently I saw more hair than usual. What does that mean?
Awesome video as always Audrey!!

Thank you so much for this video much needed please make a video about all your tips on growing hair longer and healthier please 🤗
Name fall out shampoo. Up top.
Thank you for this video - silicones have really helped out my hair
I believe just like in skincare where you need the active ingredients in leave-on treatments vs cleaners to get the real benefit, using a shampoo with such ingredients can help but not as much as actually leaving these on the scalp for a while.
This is actually a really good point. I think when it comes to shampoos, though, it’s understood that you’re going to be rinsing it off so when we’re talking about shampoos for hair growth it’s just about having the best ingredients in the shampoo to do as good of a job as is physically possible to help your hair to grow. This is with the understanding that it’s going to get rinsed out
I found that all these shampoos have sulfates. Some even stronger like Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate that’s in Aveeno and Ogx. What most consumers don’t know is that these companies are choosing chemicals that are often stronger and harsher than sulfates. These substitutes include cocamide DEA, cocamide MEA, PEG, propylene glycol, cocamidopropyl betaine.

I absolutely love your hair and makeup today 😁😁
Thank you sooo much!!! Imo everyone should see this video! I tried to grow my hair for a very long time. When I was searching for advise, every hair KZhead would say to go longer in between washes. It's a myth that your hair will adjust to the fewer washes if your hair is oily genetically. I tried to wash my hair only once a week and use dry shampoo in between. my hair looked HORRIBLE on day two and I would be so self conscious about it. also there was a lot of build up on my scalp due to the dry shampoo and my hair would literally fall out because of it. The past year I went on accutane which suppressed the productions of sebum. During hat time, washing my hair once a week was totally fine because my hair just wouldn't get as oily. after I stopped taking the medication, my hair would get oily again really fast. now I wash my hair every day and my hair is growing again! Don't ever feel bad about washing your hair every day if that is what makes you feel confident. A healthy scalp and body is where hair growth starts. Also I would only use silicone free products because they would get demonized on the internet. I used very cheap drugstore shampoo and my hair changed for the worst. now it was thin because of the hair loss and it was frizzy and damaged. i go for salon quality shampoo, conditioner and hair oil and use a clarifying shampoo once in a while.
It takes a while for your hair to adjust
For me it didn't work. For one year I washed my hair once a week, twice at most. This was possible because of the medication I was taking. if 'training' your hair really worked for everyone, my hair should have adjusted after one year even without the medication. but it didn't. I just want to say that training the hair will work for a lot of people but not for everyone. And those people shouldn't feel like they're doing something wrong. At least I felt that way before.
Pls,do a video on dry scalp hair care...by the way, your hair is so gorgeous ❤
