Although Prince's (or "Princeton" as I called him) religion didn't allow for birthday celebrations, we who loved & admired his gift could not allow this day to pass, unmentioned, unnoticed or unappreciated. As an aside though, has everyone forgotten the Stephanie Mills cover of this song? Ms. Mills might've been the first person to ever cover a Prince song. He rarely permitted covers. Sinead O'connor pissed him off with an unauthorized cover a song I can't remember. Joan Baez "One of Us" cover was memorable. TLC cover of Waterfalls?
