Emerald was pregnant while directing?? Damn this baby got film experience at an early age
Gotta pick things up while they're young right 🤣
She had her baby one week after the film wrapped up. She is a legend😎
i only watched this movie for Bo, turns out it’s a epic movie
Me too.💖💖💖

These things always drive home how hard acting on screen probably is, the actual emoting and giving the script some kind of life is probably hard enough but then you have to do it with a huge camera in front of you and like 50 people stood right behind it staring at you
I agree, this whole thing looks like an introverts nightmare
I wish I would have seen Heath Ledger as The Joker Behind the Scene Footage.
I can't stop thinking about how awkward it must be to be an extra in the bar scenes and have to dance convincingly with no music whatsoever
I've done that before. It's not weird at all actually. The lighting and direction helps you imagine it
Oop the people that just have to dance in the background of the club without any music
If I were an actor I’d be one of those annoying people who doesn’t drop an accent between takes. Seeing Carey Mulligan doing it just proves she’s the best actor ever lmao
I don’t think people find it annoying, it’s understandable that someone would do that to keep the consistency for themselves. Some actors even keep up the fake accent when doing the press tours and interviews for the film so the audience is already used to the accent
@@spoopify5560 Maybe I meant pretentious? But yeah I don’t know how people flip it on and off like a switch
The way Emerald said "cut" at 11:11 was ADORABLE. I love her.
Just everything about that image. Pregnant, stylish, with a half empty starbucks drink. Love it
Bo Burnham is just getting started. Amazing chemistry between these two.
I loved this movies so much... such a rollercoaster. Wow
I can’t tell in the laughing scene with the pizza if that’s actual laughing or fake laughing and I’m dying
God it's so amazing to watch a writer /director who is soo in her element making such a great movie. And at the same time she's just casually growing a new human inside her. That's power.
5:34 Emerald's reactions are so cute you can see her investment in the scene
I'm just gonna state the obvious: Alison Brie is the greatest. Everything she does, even B-roll footage, is like WOW.
who knew bo always has the comedian spirit still in him?
Bo Burnham is a brilliant comic and actor. He has moved away from doing his startlingly original and insightful one-man comedy/musical routines on stage but I hope he continues to act in movies. He has a puppy dog charm that is simply adorable.
The parts with Alison warmed my heart
Nice to see how much fun they were having on set. Thanks for sharing! 🙏
One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
7:15 that's CUTE
Whoa, bless you for posting this. Shows how much magic happens in editing and producing a movie when you see it on the screen
This movie was AMAZING!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Omg I just realized that the director is camila from the crown … talented one
Want to see this, Miss Mulligan favors a young Stevie Nicks. The buzz has her getting an Oscar nomination. I.J.S.
If you thought this movie was TERRIBLE you missed the point. 🙄
i really wanna know if Clancy Brown did the Mr Krabs voice for bo.
Daddy Clancy looks great
How did the b-roll come out before the film
The film premiered at Sundance last January I believe so it checks out
Less time editing
Why am I watching this
Same
The director lady looks like Kortney Love
Yeah right?..i think she easily could play her in a movie
Hurd it’s good but not very good just ok
Revenge or a just giving men a stern talking to? This movie sucked so bad, but had infinite potential! Portraying women as weak and feeble and again driving home that white cis het men get to continue living their life with nearly no repercussions. HATED IT.
Didnt they get arrested at the end?
@@anayarose5104 ya this person missed the point of the end
You can't go out and commit serial homicide for revenge in the real world. It was meant to have a raw and more realistic feel. I didn't think her character seemed weak at any point either?
But that’s the point...showing rape culture, that white cis het men DO get to continue with their life most of the time, that women have odds stacked against them from the start. The movie is not made to be satisfying or being a fantasy, it’s very real despite its premise.
I think this film injected quite a lot of reality into the revenge "fantasy", which may make it unenjoyable and unsatisfactory to many. We want our revenge to be big, and satisfying, and dramatic, like in "American Mary" (another revenge film about a promising young woman who drops out of med school due to rape) But here, we see the reality: that most people can't change their personalities and become serial killers. That it's very difficult for a kind person to hurt others. We also see that revenge is usually ineffective: the guys she confronts largely turn her into an anecdote about a "psycho chick" they met and feel like victims who did nothing wrong, rather than actually learning a lesson. And of course, the end, when the main perpetrator doesnt act out the fantasy script and never admits to any wrong doing, and she can't pull off her plan. We also see that revenge ultimately only hurts the person seeking it. Cassie's behavior is self destructive and harmful to her in the extreme, but the guys, for the most part, live guilt free. We get our true "fantasy" revenge at the very end, with the dramatic arrests at the wedding, because the reality that they'd probably get away with it would have been a step too far, and we would have completely rebelled and hated the film.
Terrible movie.
it was great, especially at 3 am, Bo definitely made it better tho
And now my stupid friends are having stupid children
U have terrible taste.
Why would you think it's a terrible movie?
Makes sense watching behind a scenes of a movie you didn't like
