Our last Arara Azul died and people like him bought the whole rest ILLEGALLY. Maybe the person who sold him said it was legal but a simple online search would show him it wasn't true. It's so sad to see the end of a specie because people think is cool to have a blue bird in a cage. Extremely sad!

  • pak Chandra and Leafy Irene, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful opportunity to let me take part in a tour of such a grand magnificent garden and expensive knowledge. I am a young plant enthusiast also from the metropolitan city of Jakarta, I am a overseas college student who currently live in another city to finish my study. I often helped my grandmother to take care and save neglected dying plants in our lush garden, and now I have brought that habit to my small space boarding house (kost-an). Day passed by and my grandma is getting older, she may no longer be able to care for the garden at any time. So that the management of the home garden will be passed directly to me. Even though I'm happy to have it, it will also going to give me a difficult time to manage everything alone. Sometimes I feel stressed and overwhelmed because I have to check every plant once a week thoroughly to prevent pests, until this video crossed my timeline. This was an eye opening experience with a pack of helpful tips, I learned that no matter how hard I try to save, you can't always save everything. That's the law of nature, we have to let them and ourselves free, grow wild naturally. Pak Chandra i would love to know and talk to you, and maybe i could visit and even have the garden tour myself hehe. such an inspiration! I really appreciate your openness to providing knowledge

I feel the same way this man does, at least in regards to nature, how a perfect garden looks like and animals. I always look at the garden of rich people homes. The house itself can be average and I would be content with it. Sure some things are nice to have, but a garden like this is priceless and keeps on giving peace. Beautiful. Most beautiful garden Ive ever seen anywhere. The man seems cool as well :)

    • Idk if you ignorant or didn't know anything about Southeast Asia flora and fauna. Tropical forest is not only found in South America, neither you can feel entitled enough to claim it like it only belong to your continent. Southeast Asia is hot and humid region with Tropical forest biomes, it's in the equatorial line same with South America. In fact, two Tropical rainforest in Southeast Asia is a lot more older than Amazon like, Borneo and Taman Negara.

  • This man knows how to lounge around. What a great balance. It essentially creates an atmosphere where you can find energy through movement- that can be hard to do in a small apartment with little green space in the city. If you move through the world with a positive, nurturing perspective- you can see how it adds another layer of essence with this environment. All without lessons from a teacher, or a plane flight where the spices are different. I don’t know if everyone should live in an environment like this- yet it projects desire that is accustomed to the earths limitations- without any physical, man-held chemistry induced reactions. ~It makes you wonder how houses like this can be incorporated in other areas of world, utilizing the natural born plants as to induce an increase in the vibrational frequency- without requiring change within ones beliefs~ This isn’t just a house. It’s a philosophy a man held, along with the self control and will to realize. You can tell he cares about future generations or at the very least knows how to get out of the way and enjoy life. Can you imagine where this philosophy would be in the world if he didn’t care about his environment? Lots of hidden respect. A very kind and humble man.

  • This is a very beautiful place to know. Share your plants. There is a popular expression in my country (Brazil) that says "when visiting a poor house you can bring with you a puppie caramel, a bowl of food or a baby plant". Tropical plants are amazing!

  • Omg I find myself speechless when it comes to commenting this incredible garden... I wouldn't even say garden, it's a miniature jungle forest, so much care has been taken to create a balanced ecosystem. The most captivating point to me is that everything looks perfectly natural. Pak Chandra said interesting things about the roots finding their own way to nutritive elements if they have enough space. And of course the mansion with the aviary, the scenic view over the plants and everything... Amazing!
