drama "Eye Love You," which is very popular in Japan, tells the love story of Yuri, a Japanese girl, and Taeo, a Korean guy. It's even starting to gain attention in Korea recently.
They say the drama accurately portrays things like Korean food, clothing styles, and personalities... But does it feel real?
To find out if Taeo really resembles a Korean, we asked six Koreans directly.

  • This was very cool, thank you. It's always interesting watching a video where Koreans comment about all the cliche's that are placed in their dramas (just like every other country also, of course) but I'm learning Korean (very slowly) so that's why its always informative and funny to watch average Koreans talking with their friends about things. Learning from the people in comparison to the pretty actors/idols you see in typical Kdramas that some people seem to think represents South Korea as a whole. I do watch some Korean dramas , I also watch alot of Japanese dramas and of course they are very different so when those cultures are combined into one drama its very amusing. Thanks for the video.

  • I just finished the drama and found your review. It's very interesting to know how other ppl felt about this drama. There were many plot holes, but I truly enjoyed the chemistries of main CP. And 2nd CP were so typical Anime like performances which are very much liked by many JPN. I noticed in other platforms FL was criticized of her performance , but she played so well in SHOGUN. I think she is a good actress. In this drama, director wanted her to perform as is, so hope ppl will like her other performances. Thx for this video. I enjoyed it❤ BTW, we, JPN, all think Korean men look like K-actors 😊 I even looked around a lot in Incheon Airport two month ago while I was there and I found none😢😂 So they are special, that's why they became actors! But hey looks doesn't mutter, right? It should all comes from inner beauty! And many JPN usually won't express our feelings or emotions too much. That maybe the reason why many female in japan, including me, loves K-dramas(romances).

  • In the USA they didn’t subtitle the Korean either…leaving me just as confused as FL. Truthfully I didn’t get very far bc of it…

    • The reason it wasn’t translated was so u were in the protagonist shoes.

    • At the very last episode, the non-translated Tae oh's thinking were finally translated in Eng Sub. (There was scene that brought memories of time they spent, then there were transplantation, finally). I think director wanted audiences to be like FL, so that we can experienced how she felt.

    @user-nv7rc2rs1n@user-nv7rc2rs1nАй бұрын
    • 同じく、韓国ではビビンパ混ぜずに食べる人は変な人だと思われます。嫌われはしないけど。ビビンパは混ぜるものだから、丼ものではないから。ビビンパは混ぜることに意味がある食べ物です。ビビ>>混ぜる、だから。外国の食べ物を自分の国の習慣で食べることはどの国にもあるし、好きに食べればいいのに、日本は食べ方で嫌ったりするんですか?そもそもカレーは日本のものでもないし、混ぜても混ぜなくても日本人が判断できる領域でもないはず。
