  • Verse 7 stood out to me here because of the word empty. Jesus emptied himself, meaning to pour out. In a world that convinces us to focus on who and what pours into us I am encouraged to live like Christ instead of filling myself up through my fleshly desires.

  • I loved 3:15 in my NLT version it says “live clean innocent lives as children of God” and I loved that because it really makes you realize how important it is to be a representation of God and His children. BIG shoes to fill haha but God gives us the knowledge to accomplish this great task! 🥰🙏🏼

  • Thank you, Kaci! I loved reading this chapter with you. It really made me think about times I grumble and I connected that to doing chores. I have decided to challenge myself this week by using times I do chores as a time of worship and feeling good about helping my family members and serving THEM by doing these chores - totally changed how I approach them :D

  • Hi Kaci, our message at church last Sunday, our Pastor brought out from it, that we Christians are often very good at winging and complaining. I am 67 and it's so lovely to see a young lady sharing your faith. I felt that God was speaking to me and that I are not supportive of others who struggle with life. To be a good Christian one needs to be a bit more sensitive to the needs of others, especially those who don't know Jesus's as their saviour. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and encouraging Christians to read and understand what Jesus wanted us to learn through His servants such as Paul. As Christians we should be a true representative of Jesus's in this perverse world. Thank you and God bless you.

  • What you said about having an argumentative attitude versus a community mindset really stood out to me. I know I struggle with that and it's something that's been on my mind a lot lately because I'm genuinely tired of being that way... and then this morning I prayerfully went through this study with you and BAM... there it is. Lol! It's so great how God shows us exactly what we need to see when we simply ask for it. Thanks so much for this!

  • Not grumbling or disputing really stood out to me as something I really need to work with God on improving in myself. I find myself complaining when something comes up and kind of ruins the flow of my day or how I planned it to go, but I know that it is not how God wants me to react to those situations and I should have more grace in them. I'm so glad I had this opportunity to watch your video and realize that this an area I need to pray and receive instruction from the Lord on.

  • Just a little coincidence as you talk through your opening about reading God’s word and thinking oh so and so needs to hear this. I was doing my devotional earlier and I read a passage and I immediately thought my brother needed to hear it. Which, he does, but so did I. Thank you for putting that into perspective for me 🖤

  • I've enjoyed this video this week in philippians 2. The 2 verses that stood out to me were verse 3 -4 and also verse 14 - 15. What I got out of those verse 2 is we should think of others above ourselve and verse 14 - 15 we should not complain or grumble.
