Oh no season 2 is gone! I was watching it yesterday, got half way through, came back to finish it and it's gone! HELLLLLLLLP! XD I can't function until I know what happened to their shitty lives!....edit: Season 2 is back! I've noticed one edit so far - at the 3 minute mark it says "beast devoured their smelly parts" but now the word "smelly" is removed. It appears someone was offended. XD

Why would you choose to live in the colony house. You have way to many people who could choose to go crazy and open a window or door. Like I'm not putting all my faith in 30 other people every night.
That's exactly what happens in a later episode
It is the party house, that is the only reason I figure. It is extra suspectable to issues and the worst choice all around.
Strength in numbers maybe. Especially if your own your own. Those creatures are no joke to experience alone. At least if we are many you might have a chance to escape if you sacrifice others. Selfish thought but it's survival of the fittest.

The voice over, some of the descriptions- “running for his shitty life” and “gave her a smelly kiss” are well placed levity in the telling of what is a unsettling show, that is worth a watch.

I'm having a difficult time understanding why they keep opening the goddamn windows every day. Front door/back door open would create a cross breeze, so doing it for cooling isn't valid. Nail them shut ffs.
But if they did that we wouldn’t have a show and the main characters plot armor would be gone lol. The show is interesting but odd but what do I expect from a show done by the guys who FU Lost dudes literally were at the end zone and found a way to not only fumble it they managed to blow up the ball as well 🤦♂️
Opening up a door is not gonna cool down an entire house. Especially if there’s multiple floors. And I’m pretty sure they don’t open the windows every day since in the 1st episode a guy literally got put in the box for not nailing his windows shut.

One thing that's wrong about the priest story...it was WAY darker than the boy jumping to his death. The priest went to the boys house because he had a bad feeling and when he went he saw that the dad had snapped the boys neck and was hitting the boy telling him to get up and it didn't hurt....so the priest in a fit of rage killed the dad on the spot.
Not very priest-like, but... not gonna lie, I understand why he did it. Hope God can forgive someone in a situation like that.

If you haven't watched this series yet I strongly recommend it, it's so good. Usually we get either great acting and effects or a well written story we very seldom get both but this series is an example of what a horror series should be done.

No show has ever had me so interested, frustrated, dissapointed yet captivated every episode. A lot of potential with this show with a mix of great acting as well as terrible acting. Also a great story that only teases to get to the plot.

don't know why people are blaming the drunkard for his family's death, the kid killed them, the kid who knew how things worked was the one who let the devil in and if the drunkard had been home he would just have died with them. anyone saying "well he could have stopped her" so could the mom yet she didn't so why would the dad have stopped her? you can't supervice a child 24/7, that family was doomed to die.

Fantastic series. I've seen both Season 1 & 2 and looking forward to a season 3. I just hope that it doesn't get cancelled. It's very frustrating when a good series gets cancelled after only 2 seasons, which seems to happen a lot for some reason.

My uncle has a policy that no matyer how good a show looks or what people tell him about it, he wont watch it until is has finished three seasons. For the very reason you mentioned. He got tired of getting wrapped up in awesome shows that never went past one or two seasons.

This is by far one of the best tv shows that I've seen in years. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out stuff in books and tv shows but this show has me stumped and I feel like a dog chasing its tail. I pray they don't fuk up and cancel it before we get some answers.

One of the best shows to come of Hollywood in recent times. I'd stopped watching american shows but From captured that old American magic of shows that have a gripping and captivating plotline and excellent multidimensional characters.

Yup, I watched it in one go. I don't do that with all shows. I didn't know what it was about but say Harold P and decided to give ti a chance. It's fun show...brings back as you say some Hollywood magic that seemed to have gotten lost in the recent past 10 years of stuff going on.

My dad has been watching this along with the second season. I've got a fear, however, that this series has the same deal as "Lost"---the writers have no idea what they're doing or any plan...they're just throwing stuff at the audience that looks creepy and cool and when interest starts to wane they'll just slap a weak explanation on it to call it done.
Yup. The first season alone has way too many things going on for the show to possibly end satisfactorily. The writers are definitely going to keep writing in more and more random stuff until viewers lose interest, at which point they will end the show on a weak note with many loose ends.

The shitty seasons of Lost were written during the mid-2000s writers' strike. There were literally no writers on that show.

It was also his fault. The sheriff prior to the incident reminded him many times to nail the windows because he had a kid in the house who could be lured by the creatures.

what they should do is pulled all the resources together and build a fortress with metal bars on windows and thick walls. They could put all the talisman in the same building and make it super protective
Thickness of the walls don't matter it seems...That said, people want to live in different ways...that's the whole point of people either choosing to live in the town or in colony house. In shows like TWD it shows how humans can be even more dangerous than the monsters when their personalities don't mix. People's emotions will get in the way. You don't want EVERYONE in the same place.
only 1 talisman is needed to protect a house and they can shred metal with ease if they know you are in there it seems. not to even begin with how would they get the matrerials? they havnt built anything they are just liiving in the place that was there before them
They barely had enough spare wood to make the radio tower... I mean granted they could have ripped up some floor boards here and there.... But best to leave most structures standing and useful for storage, space, and protection.

I've only discovered this series recently and watched both season 1 and 2, I love it! However, there are many annoying scenes and people, lol! But I noticed that their biggest problem is miscommunication, different people sees/hear/knows/discover things, but do not talk about it and decides to keep it a secret from everyone and that's what causes trust issues and misunderstandings. I'm like, what is the point of hiding information, you're all in there, might as well talk about it, it would also help with their mental health. Like regarding hiding the body of the dead monster, why hide it? Let everyone see it, specially the new comers who are still doubtful about the existence of the monsters. There are also scenes where someone is trying to tell something, like when Jade was looking for Victor, because he wanted to ask him about something important, but stupid Jim just gets angry for no apparent reason, and just threatens Jade, and refuse to listen, like seriously?! I really hate scenes where someone wants to tell something important but other characters won't listen, not just in this series, but all series and movies that have scenes like that, annoying as hell, lol! But yes I get it, they have to make things complicated and difficult for the characters to build up all the drama, etc. And overall From is a really good horror tv series, in spite of some annoying characters and scenes, looking forward to Season 3!

well...i mean, if everything went perfectly and how things should go, it would have been completed and everyone would have worked together and escaped or survived and there'd be no more reason to make any other episodes. you gotta have that stuff for the plot to continue.
they're stuck in a town that's trapped in a liminal space where magic electricity keeps houses lit and they have talismans to ward off sinister creatures, and random hallucinations/voices are common place and the whole area likes to fuk with people or make them go crazy. Yes, lets have nightly therapy sessions about the stuff people are seeing, which may or may not be the result of monster fukery and/or trauma
For me this is one of the scariest tv shows i have ever seen seeing as how these devils are so calm and seem friendly and then suddenly jump at you gives me chills
The show is pretty cool and it seems almost like a “Silent Hill” style story.

Yes a great series full of mystery of what the place is when they are going to find answers and order within all the chaos of struggling to stay hopefull and alive. Characters are so frustrating at times but overall a great watch for a scary series 👍👁📺
Allow me to come at it's reminiscent of wayward pines it came out in 2016 with actor Matt Dillon Daniel CC movie did a recap on that 2 season 1 and 2 and wayward pines had me running back and forth another one he did with the German horror-thriller "the dark " that recap had me running back what's what I predict pretty soon they'll be an American remake I'm not going to reveal too much but let's just say it involve time travel reverse time travel and something totally different call sideways dimension jumping hopping all that shit that should help me fucking continue from one inch of the next.

The show, just like "Lost" starts out strong. But then they quickly start relying on mystery boxes and instead of solving the mysteries they just add more mystery boxes. Not only that, but they keep throwing more stuff at the wall, hoping it sticks. The first half of season 1 was the best, everything since then is good, but slowly getting bad.

From had me hooked the first season but I can't shake the feeling that it is going to wind up being another convoluted mess like Lost. In my mind I tried to come up with theories as to what is going on but as the events became more and more ridiculous I realized there was never going to be a logical explanation.
Best explanation is this is just a thing that exists in the world. Sucks for them.
@@Frey12 The explanation will be lazy no matter what. Probably as simple as "magic". They are evil magical creatures in a town surrounded by a magic barrier that draws people in and doesn't let them leave, except for SPOILER... a magic dive from a lighthouse that lets you leave from the town.

It would be really interesting if they made a spin-off series like Fear The Walking Dead (etc). Maybe another group from the same town could discover a "creature without a face" and have to overcome obstacles to prove its existence. With each season bigger and better than the last, it would be amazing to see how it'll all conclude in the end with all the characters left from each series coming together for a final conflict.

This tv series is like the tv show Lost. Interesting premise and characters but as the show went on they couldn't decide what it wanted to be and then went off the rails so hard. Introducing strange characters and revelations and suddenly just dropped them and went for another story. Literally lost on the plot 😂

By now ppl should know when to not order food. Party in the colony house was just dumb. Colony house had too many young/party ppl, no structure. One night away from his wife would not have caused her to make that decision. Everyome was blaming themselves for someone else's actions. They try to build a radio tower for 8 hours and already gave up!! The ppl brought there needed to be taught resilience.
That was stupid, the entire wagon cage punishment was an stupid Idea. To justify basically giving the death sentence to the drunk, instead of passing out at the bar they should have had him stumble home drunk and burst open a window.
The video is awesome i love the story line and the gore!!
