  • Thank you for sharing these stories, keeping them alive is so important. My great uncle survived The Battle of the Bulge and D-day, but was killed in Operation Varsity less than six weeks before the war was declared over. He was in a glider in the 17th Airborne Division and was shot down over Germany. He wrote my grandpa, his older brother, four weeks before and asked him to try anything he could to get him out and somewhere safer (my grandpa was a captain at the time) because he knew he wasn’t going to make it out alive. There was nothing to be done, so my great uncle sent his most treasured possessions to my grandpa in preparation. What a remarkable history these men have.

  • The town I live in, Bedford, VA lost 20 men on D-day. They were all members of a National Guard unit that hit Omaha Beach. The National D-day memorial is located here. Thanks for remembering D-day.

  • Our unit went in 2003. Tried to do the jump but couldn't because of high winds. Another plane had a small window to jump to avoid winds and went for it. A lot of that chalk got hurt. Broken collar bones, concussion and landing on roofs, poles on the ground etc. I say all that because that dz will get small real quick with high winds. I hope you guys get the perfect weather to do it.

  • Having taking a motorcycle trip to Normandy last year september. Just driving around the area alone puts all the fighting in a different perspective. Also standing in a model of one of those landing boats at the Utah beach museum, then imagine that door opening with heavy machine gun fire........ Then standing in a mock up of one the glider planes, they were not build for Dutch height. My 6'4 ass could barely fit in it while being heavily crouched down It might be a bit of a detour but in Belgium there is a museum, with a few miles of the Atlantic wall defenses/bunkers preserved. From a technical stand point is quite amazing to see what they all set up

  • The ford plant in my home town was also converted into a glider factory during the war. If you ever happen to be in the upper peninsula of Michigan and want to see a complete restoration of one of those gliders stop by the historical society in a town called iron mountain. Its on the top of the hill right by the cornish pump.

I believe in everything you do and I agree with everything you guys say about where our countries headed and how our military is in danger of becoming extremely weak. I love what you guys do I really respect it and I know you don't read the comments back.Bless you all

  • My grandpa was a paratrooper in Vietnam, He was stationed somewhere overthere working on bases instead of being used in combat. So my grandpa who signed up never saw combat as a paratrooper, and instead they drafted people who didn't want to go. He died in 2002 before I was born, so I never got to here any of his stories from him and his buddys in Vietnam.

    • @williamstocker584 can't pretend on the joe rogan podcast to be some sort of conservative, all American made company, supporting the "American way of life" while simultaneously donating to a party who seeks to censor Americans, pack the supreme court, not looking out for American interest, instead Ukraine, Isreal and illegal immigrants concerns come first. I have no problem if they want to come out publicly and declare they support the Democrat party but don't hide under the guise that they are somehow a supporter of the conservative party.

      @Tobiason24@Tobiason242 ай бұрын
  • Why did BRCC donate to the DNC multiple times?

    @MrBrowne86@MrBrowne862 ай бұрын
    • You probably don't actually care but just in case you do 1. Because Evan lost a bet in which he had to donate $500 of his own money to the DNC and 2. Because the guys are friends with Tulsi Gabbard and in order for her to get on the debate stage her campaign needed to raise a certain dollar amount so he donated to Tulsi's campaign which led to her absolutely destroying Kamala Harris during the debates. Not that it ended up mattering considering sleepy creepy Joe picked her as his running mate.

      @kim-jong-poon@kim-jong-poon2 ай бұрын
    • That is an excellent question.

      @jmatt1891@jmatt18912 ай бұрын
    • Evan donated twice not brcc. Once $200 to Hillary when he lost a bet and once to Tulsi because he thought she was killing Hillary at debates and didn't want her to get knocked out because no one else was calling her out and 2 because she was a veteran. Dude this was covered like 4+ years ago when it happened and if you think a few hundred dollars from his PERSONAL pocket effect a campaign where millions are donated by billionaires and pacs you're a special kind of stupid
