  • To date transfer portal numbers for Colorado: Incoming - 36 and outgoing - 41. Deion is doing what he needs to do to produce a winning team this year. The haters aren't telling us that because they have an agenda. Shake off the haters!

    • If you look at who actually transferred out vs who is transferred in, this conversation is nonsensical. Going to Colorado guarantees you 2 things exposure and education, if you work you butt off you are 100% guaranteed success whether football or Professionally. With coach prime anything is possible use Xavier Weaver or Travis Hunter as an example of what hard work gets you.

  • The guys that left, they expected to leave outside maybe 4 players. Only two I think were starters and I'm not sure either two would have been the starter in Edwards and Cooper this year. Some guys surprised me and would have been great depth players like J.J Hawkins, Alton, Jayden Milner Jones, and Khari Mann. Other guys were a cancer to the team like Bishop, Gaines, and Cormani. Other guys were just burried on the depth chart like Victory Johnson, Gudd, Page. Some guys were just sorry like Jatta, Bailey, Wilty, and Marvin Ham. Other guys you expected to transfer like wallace, and Sy'Veon and Savion. Out the bunch, it's really only 7 I think could have contributed in a meaningful way. Hawkins, Alton, Edwards, Savion, Cooper, Dawson, and Jayden Milner Jones.

    • @@jamaal9911 Unlike last year, I think the new coaches will get these boys right. Last year coach said his boys didn't know their assignments. Basically blocking whomever was in front of them which led to missed blitz or triple teaming one guy allowing a guy or two to come untouched (See ASU and UCLA games). The other issue, we had guys abit undersize at the line. Brining in Walker didn't make sense, but the rest of the guys brought in are 6'4 280 plus. The new transfers are 6'6 305 pounds plus. Most importantly, they're young or have multiple years left. If we can't get them right during the summer, Loadholt will get them right next Spring.

    • @dccarsonmusic but let's be honest, the "grime" started on day one. Before Coach Prime even opened his mouth. He's used to the shine, so best believe all the talk on social media isn't phasing him and it certainly won't impact how he manages his program. Only time will tell how much better they will be or continue to get.

  • Doesn't matter how many transfers , the question is did they get better? and was team depth addressed . Dawgs at least 2 deep . I hope that with the players coming in they understand that there are dawgs already on that roster that are waiting for their turn and will fight for their positions on the depth chart .

  • It’s really great that players are coming into the program. The problem is to get players to stay in the program to build quality depth! The way that’s done is to build a family atmosphere instead of a cutthroat atmosphere where coaches, players and staff respect each other. That can’t be done by having a transient atmosphere where every year there’s a constant turnover of players and staff! I know that Coach Prime and the team have to win this season to take advantage of Shedeur’s last season and first season in the Big12. Hopefully a winning season and bowl invitation will allow Coach Prime to start recruiting high school players and underclassmen for 2025 and beyond to START BUILDING AND DEVELOPING A STABLE PROGRAM WITH PLAYERS WHO WANT TO STAY AND BE A PART OF A WINNING COLORADO UNIVERSITY PROGRAM!

  • The reality is that CP and theteam were minding their own business, rebuilding the team and practicing since January. CP has to improve the talent and the media could see that he's been doing that. So that hack Olson wrote that piece just to stir up controversy to make Coach Prime look bad and to hopefully stop his progress in fielding a full and talented team. TOO LATE! 😂 Man, oh man this season is going to be fun.

  • There is such a thing as too much competition. Those young men need to be settled and know whether or not they're going to play before the portal closes. It's unfair to them if they have an opportunity to play someplace else they need to know if they're going to play at Colorado or not.

  • Do any of you know why the players coming to Colorado are transferring their? Just asking. When a player leaves a team it’s probably because he wasn’t getting any reps in practice or he wasn’t gone get any playing time or, he was gone lose his job to a incoming freshman. Just like the players leaving Colorado same thing. So you’re really not getting dawgs you’re just getting players that couldn’t get playing time at there previous school or a graduate transfers so don’t get so excited.

    • Sounds reasonable but where are your examples, data? The Portal concept is Brand New, still being tested and evaluated. Right now every coach is vulnerable!

      @nubianq333@nubianq33314 күн бұрын
    • @@nubianq333 do you think a big time player that is getting major playing time major looks from NFL scouts is going to hop in the transfer portal and leave?. No. Also, do you think a kid is going to leave a coach or coaching staff that is only know for getting kids to the next level? No. The transfer portal is for kids that graduated but didn’t get the looks from major scouts like they wanted so they transfer to continue their career so they can. The transfer portal is also for kids that don’t get the reps, or the same amount of playing time in practice like the ones in front of them if you understand what I mean. Because a head coaches job is to look and observe and figure out who has that dawg and that fight in them. Who has what it takes to make the team better a player they can count on to put in the game in any situation whether it’s on offense and defense. But bottom line hear is what I’m saying, if a kid feels like he’s not going to get the same treatment and opportunities as other players they enter the transfer portal and the transfer portal has been around 2 or 3 years now.

Let alone the nfl coaching staff, scouts will be there everyday during the season
