These documentaries are awesome. They offer a very rare and personal glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes in acedemies around the globe. Many people are not able to visit these world class academies for a variety of reasons. They will never meet these past legends of Jiu Jitsu or the Iconic Grapplers that are shaping new competitive BJJ. Thank you for all the amazing content. I'm injured an unable to train BJJ. When do these guys work? Do they have jobs also? or are they making income from BJJ and sponsors etc?
Just curious how do these guys have multiple sports cars and their own houses by the beach? Not hating or envious, genuinely curious. Does teaching classes, privates and seminars and winning bjj competitions really pay that much? Or is it like a Dillon Danis situation? Cause these guys are living better than top level ufc fighters lol.
I think it's his wife's parent's house and I think the Porsche was a reward from his father who runs a successful auto-body shop. If you look at the wall, it's mostly pictures of him and his wife lol

yes Tainan receives very well on podcast in Portuguese Gui has already said that Tainan has 3 apartments that he rents and last year alone he made almost 500 thousand dollars
@@KevinClarkson93 Tainan's father owns an insufilm company I don't know if the house is from Sophia's country but he already made enough money in the sport to buy porshe and a house in addition to the apartments that Gui already said that tainan owns

It's always Gui Mendez getting the spotlight as a teacher, which he's great at but does Rafa Mendez not teach at all any more? Or does he just pop in from time to time. We barely hear from him or seen him at all
Rafa doesn't teach classes anymore. He only drops in to train occasionally.
Maybe Gui do the "Competition class" and Rafa the "Non competition Class"
