This is actually a horror movie for any art lover.
Exactly. It's such a shock
Imagine if mr bean come to art museum
🤔😃😐😁😀😂😃🤗
Especially at 6:08
Yup. I remember joking about this film in art class with my friends and the teacher was like a deer in headlights.
imagine being in that situation in real life....anxiety level 1000
It happened
Nikmat 3M wow you’re perverted
Nazreen Horizon Malaydog
Nazreen Horizon Malaydog is not a bad word tho
Nazreen Horizon Katanya kamu bukan dari malaysia, kenapa dikatain malaydog triggered ya 😂😂😂
6:08 gives me heart palpitations every time. More than any horror movie ever could.
When I was a kid I was scared shitless by this episode. Exactly by this scene
@@13RedCorpse as a kid? That moment haunted my dreams!
I thought the oysters nightmare sequence from Room 426 was worse.
@@13RedCorpse the music used ie ridiculously dramatic
It’s pretty horror movie esque
6:07 - The way they make you feel the exact same anxiety that Bean is feeling in this scene (both with his look of horror, as well as the horror-style music) is so effective and well done.
He doesn’t say a word, but you can actually feel his terror.😅
The music was funny
that's some genius work right there by the top notches
6:11
4:14 The acting of anxiety is a purely masterpiece.
yeah
I think there's better instances of acting anxious than some hand fumbling
@@adonaiyah2196 He gives the perfect idea of how it feels inside. It's sort of archetypal.
@@paopis sooo my point stands. Not saying ik everything about it but anxiety isnt just fumbling theres better instances of anxiety here
@@adonaiyah2196 your point absolutely stands for literal representation. But I think that Rowan Atkinson did not aim at rendering a realistic representation. In this case we have a perfect caricature.
This scene always frightened me when I was a kid.
DeviousShadows why?
Same. The music and pure panic from Bean terrified me. We never usually see Mr. Bean "scared," as well.
The Thinner chemical melted the Whistler's mother face was the scariest one
Oh my god me too and to this day I still don’t know why
@@internetdinosaur8810 same. Also the painting scares me for some reason. Maybe because the old lady looks scary and the painting haunted.
The fact that he actually drew over it like nobody would notice🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Idk. Maybe he'd bought it.
OMG that face XD
😂😂😂😂
It’s something Mr Bean would do. 😂😂😂
He couldn't even just put a normal sized nose either 😭😭😭😭
"Oh Jesus, oh God, oh Jesus God, oh Mary, mother of Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth." The best freakout line I've ever heard.
It’s that high-pitched voice of his that makes it so funny. He has a great, cartoon-like delivery. That’s probably why he’s voiced so many animated characters.
8:01 Arguably the funniest scene in the movie..😂😂
Hands-down the most poorly acted scene in the movie, featuring the worst actor. 😒
I would argue. Kasper doesn’t seem to appreciate the genius of Peter Macnicol. But I can’t count how many times I’ve watched this scene. Not sure the movie would be worth a watch without it
@@Segwo Agreed. Peter Macnicol is hilarious in everything he does, from Harvey Birdman to Veep.
@@ac8911 another personal fav of mine is his performance in Dracula dead and loving it.
Nah thats the scene when Mr. Bean does the finger
His reaction to when Mr Bean unveiled the painting was hilarious
Just Some Guy without a Mustache indeed
От души смеялся
I can imagine someone doing an edit of that picture with Justin Bieber's head on it..lol
It is! I wish someone made it a meme
Cappy Corn That’s when my parents see my report card 😭
The fact that Bean completely destroyed the face in the painting yet he still decided to draw a rough sketch of the face even knowing he screwed up makes it more funnier 😂
Cracks me up everytime and bean is the ultimate disaster waiting to happen but I only have one question if this painting is so valuable and important then why didn't they cover it with a glass screen any security and staff of an art gallery would have thought of that
Ha ha ha💗💗💗
💜💯💥
That scene is even more funny after the jesus incident. It took on a while new meaning!
LoL 🤣🤣
David's reaction to the painting get me every time. It's hilarious. Great acting.

Remember everyone. All of this happened because Mr. Bean sneezed.

he didn't learnt from that incident when he ruined a library book bcz of his sneeze
Say that to his handkerchief coated in ink!
Leave it to Bean to create something so minor into damaged beyond repair lmao

When he walks though the hall and pretends to have cart with squeeky wheels. That part always gets me. 😂😂😂
Such things - and stuff like that he did in Mr.Bean series - always makes me think if this was Rowans idea and improvisation.

This scene never gets old, always made me laugh harder 🤣
The reaction of Peter MacNicol when he sees the painting for the first time is Oscar worthy. And even the second time where he throws himself to the tiny window, hilarious!
Peter McNicol is such an under-appreciated actor. Brilliant performance the chemistry bitween Peter and the comic genius legend Rowan is amazing and even though Rowan is the key element of the film. Peter does really stand on his own and does it well.
So true. I was expecting someone to say this. This is one of my favourite scenes in the movie, and Peter makes it even more special. Rowan, undoubtedly, holds expertise in his craft, however, Peter is no less. They're at par in this movie.
He does💛🙂🙂🙂
Yeah. Look at his reaction 8:01 lol. Rowan? We already expected his performance because he was the Mr. Bean, come on. But Peter acting when I saw it for the first time.. I didn't expect that. It was hilarious.
Yeah I think he is hilarious in this film, the way he slowly cracks up until beans constant foolery. He is also the funniest character by miles in Mel brooks Dracula : dead and loving it.
I loved him in Ghostbusters II

These two work brilliantly together. If they ever make another Bean movie/show, David needs to return.
Big challenge being comedic counterpart of the great Rowan Atkinson, and he did a great job.
Peter MacNicol
Mr Bean has a unique ability to make me laugh so hard yet give me so much anxiety at the same time.
7:39 This entire scene is comedic genius 😂😂😂
The scene where Bean puts paint thinner on the painting HORRIFIED me as a kid. Something about the way it starts bubbling and melting. It's like a scene from a horror movie.
8:01 people’s reaction to the original Sonic the Hedgehog movie design.

it's also my favourite part😂😂💀panic attack so bad he almost crawls out the window😂
Mee to 🤣😂😂🤣🤣
For me it's him screaming "AHH- GAHD! OHHH GAHD! OH GAHD OH GAHD!"
every kid in the 90s will not forget that bean's drawing of a cartoon head. So hilarious!
Peter MacNicol is so underrated. Not only was he the perfect vocal foil to Rowan Atkinson's classic character, he's always been excellent mixing creepy with comedic. Janusz Poha from Ghostbusters 2 is a curiously similar yet distinctly memorable role to Bean Movie, but also sharing screen with the likes of Leslie Nielsen and Mel Brooks in Dracula: Dead and Lovin' It, makes him comedy royalty.
This movie scene has it all. Comedy, horror, drama. It's amazing!
This scene gave me anxiety. Like it made me feel I was responsible for the ruining the painting!

I lost it when Mr. Bean reveals the ruined painting with a smiley face on it.
I just love the fact that Bean doesn't just draw a random face to replace the damaged paint, he draws her with a comically long nose, which sort of means before he made the speech about Whistler's Mother being ugly he still thought the picture wasn't that great.
8:48 me when i saw a kis on a movie

When Mr. Bean and David are walking toward the painting, Beans reaction just cracks me up.
the only problem with this AND the switching with a poster scene later is that no one was thinking "oh lets rewind the footage on the cameras to see what i missed while i was gone!"
6:15 Me when i have math test
Every time I watch this scene. Why do I freakin picture myself in Bean's situation??! It nearly kills me every time. lmao
Because this scene carries a very deep meaning. We have all made mistakes in life that we want to fix. At the same time, we are scared that if we don’t fix them, it will hinder on someone else who may be rooting for you or counting on you. We get scared that we could possibly underperform and not live up to our expectations. Bean has showed us that no matter what, you can always fix what you believe to be broken.

Ever heard of Dada? Its an art movement that got traction in the decade after WWI - the idea was that any society that could produce something as horrible as that war had no intrinsic value. So they made art that was...the best way I can describe it in a nutshell is "memes." Dadaist art really doesn't have any meaning or purpose. Its there as one big meaningless dump. They made films, poetry and, relevant to this discussion, paintings. Why am I bringing this up? Marcel Duchamp, one of the artists who worked in the movement, drew a goatee on a print of the Mona Lisa. That piece, apparently, is worth $750k (if the replies are to be believed, 0.1% of the original painting's worth). I'm not joking, Mona Lisa with a goatee is high art to a point that the original is worth a 2 bedroom house. Want me to turn this from an art lecture into something funny? That means the painting at 8:04 would actually be artistically justifiable if, at least in the world of the film, it wasn't the original.
"Leonardo, forgive me!!!"
I just went to the museum in Paris where this is hanging and when I turned the corner and saw it, I gasped, whispered “Mr Bean!” And couldn’t stop laughing. No one else got it. My brother and I would belly laugh over this movie, sooooo good! WHISTLER’S MOTHER
