Honestly I kinda like the idea. It's good against single target stuff but sucks against hordes of units which feels like the opposite of most (if not all) spells in the game. So to counter this spell you'd want to actively keep your units close to each other which is wild.

Only in some situations. If you place them to protect a single unit, they die to the first hit and your unit tanks the rest, it'd work better to protect double troops (to reach the 5 cap), but they already take less damage. Tankier troops like I.Golem will work better imo. Ex: you play Hog with skeletons to defend it, Void opens, skeletons die and Hog takes 233 damage (lvl 15 everything) and then it takes 1817 damage from the other 2 ticks, leaving it at 655 HP. Duchess takes that out with 5 daggers to spare (everybody plays Duchess). Your opponent countered 5 elixir with 3. Another good ex would be Balloon: same scenario, Balloon survives with 627 HP, not even deathbomb connects to Duchess, +3 elixir trade Slower cards played in the back are at huge risk if they get outran by the skeletons, Ex Sparky. You either have to try and predict the Void and risk losing the Sparky if you mess up, or reactively block, but that still gives 2 hits onto the Sparky, because first hit is basically guaranteed.

I really like the spread out damage between the number of targets, but i think it couldve been different from other spells. This is basically just a better poison, and i think there should be some unique thing it does, like for a new spell some kind of forest fire mechanic where if one unit touches it a small aoe of that spell will appear where they were when they touched it, and it doesnt damage towers or smth. Not exactly that, but something different from the circle casted spells.

I really like it! It's really good against single units but not great against multiple And I like how it has counter play. You can just place more units in the void if you want an important unit (like a musketeer) survive! It takes some time to kill so you have time to react (for example put down some skeletons) if they void your unit. And it's not amazing against swarm because it takes a lot of time to kill it. It seems pretty balanced with both a high skill cap (since you want to try catching only a single unit) and counterplay (placing more units) I love it! Best thing they've added in a long time

this looks absolutely insane when you consider interactions. It can solo so many positive interactions, and you can purposely block it, adding another layer to the game. Honestly might have to play again

Honestly I kinda like the idea. It's good against single target stuff but sucks against hordes of units which feels like the opposite of most (if not all) spells in the game. So to counter this spell you'd want to actively keep your units close to each other which is wild.
Then you run splash units to counter said counter and boom you have the meta for the next 3 months

I mean earthquake does practically the same thing except it's like on average 85% of a structure's health. But earthquake also does more splash damage and slows so it's actually pretty balanced.

I think skeletons gone come clutch with the protection they will provide from the void.
Only in some situations. If you place them to protect a single unit, they die to the first hit and your unit tanks the rest, it'd work better to protect double troops (to reach the 5 cap), but they already take less damage. Tankier troops like I.Golem will work better imo. Ex: you play Hog with skeletons to defend it, Void opens, skeletons die and Hog takes 233 damage (lvl 15 everything) and then it takes 1817 damage from the other 2 ticks, leaving it at 655 HP. Duchess takes that out with 5 daggers to spare (everybody plays Duchess). Your opponent countered 5 elixir with 3. Another good ex would be Balloon: same scenario, Balloon survives with 627 HP, not even deathbomb connects to Duchess, +3 elixir trade Slower cards played in the back are at huge risk if they get outran by the skeletons, Ex Sparky. You either have to try and predict the Void and risk losing the Sparky if you mess up, or reactively block, but that still gives 2 hits onto the Sparky, because first hit is basically guaranteed.

The barbs at the end made me notice something pretty interesting In certain interactions you can 3x the most powerful version of the void zap if you place it well as units walk in one by one which is crazy 😭. This actually seems like a decently skilled card hopefully it’s balanced enough so it doesn’t just break the whole meta

I really like the spread out damage between the number of targets, but i think it couldve been different from other spells. This is basically just a better poison, and i think there should be some unique thing it does, like for a new spell some kind of forest fire mechanic where if one unit touches it a small aoe of that spell will appear where they were when they touched it, and it doesnt damage towers or smth. Not exactly that, but something different from the circle casted spells.

I really like it! It's really good against single units but not great against multiple And I like how it has counter play. You can just place more units in the void if you want an important unit (like a musketeer) survive! It takes some time to kill so you have time to react (for example put down some skeletons) if they void your unit. And it's not amazing against swarm because it takes a lot of time to kill it. It seems pretty balanced with both a high skill cap (since you want to try catching only a single unit) and counterplay (placing more units) I love it! Best thing they've added in a long time
