  • 以前我们国家也是这样修,现在我们都是坏了就换新的,不会给你修的。有些黑心维修厂,明明换一个配件就好的,他们非要给你换全套,让你多花冤枉钱。

  • I think it's amazing, how they keep old trucks going almost forever. I've seen trucks almost 60 years old still running. Reliability is being capable of fixing it. Everything gets fixed over and over again. It it wasn't any good. The old overloaded trucks wouldn't be on the road. Almost BDR - Battle Damage Repair. Clutch plates, generators, starters, chassis frames, axles and a lot more is redone or refurbished, if not made from scratch. It takes some serious skills working with those oldschool tools and methods.

  • Because the weld is not started at the center it will never be as strong as the original and is not a good idea for a heavy truck. Even when you shorten a car axle the axle ends are beveled so the weld covers the entire diameter of the axle.

With so little tools and with out the proper equipment to do the job you guys preform miracles. I just can’t even imagine doing your work with so little proper equipment. I guess I’m really spoiled. I salute you guys when ever I watch these videos. Andy from Canada

      llbuschmannllbuschmann2 сағат бұрын
    • @john blecker this exactly John...I get a little tired of the "I'm a so and so mechanic or fabricator blah blah blah". Truth is that these guys did real good for what they have BUT - that axle should be a solid weld through, which they could've done with their equipment. That axle will break again and it will be along the radius of that weld. That's not racism or americanism or any firm of hatred...its physics and the math does not lie.
