What’s happening in this Despicable Me movie clip?
Vector has kidnapped the girls. Hurrying to the fortress, Gru fights his way through Vector's defenses, causing him to fly away with the girls and the Moon in his aircraft. But Dr. Nefario and the Minions have discovered that the effects of the shrink ray are only temporary: the larger the object, the faster it returns to normal size. They and Gru perform a daring mid-air rescue of the girls before the Moon returns to its normal size, leaving Vector with the growing Moon in his aircraft.

What’s the movie Despicable Me about?
In a charming residential neighborhood surrounded by white wooden fences and flowering rose bushes stands a black building surrounded by an overgrown lawn. This sinister facade hides a secret: Gru (Steve Carell from The 40 Year old Virgin and The Office), an evil villain, surrounded by a myriad of minions and armed to the teeth, who, unbeknownst to the neighborhood, is plotting the biggest heist of all time: stealing the moon. Gru is fond of all sorts of nasty toys. He owns a multitude of air and ground combat vehicles and an arsenal of immobilizing and shrinking beams with which he annihilates all those who dare to stand in his way... until one day he comes face to face with three little orphan girls who see in him someone completely different: a daddy. The greatest villain of all time finds himself facing his toughest test yet: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.
