  • Ok so the best estimate I could find online said all the water in earth’s oceans equates to about 4.1 trillion cubic meters of water. If each bucket can cover 537 million cubic meters as shown in this video, we can calculate that you would need 7635 buckets of water to fill up earth’s oceans. A shulker box has 27 slots and your inventory can hold 36 shulker boxes, so to accomplish this you would need 7.85 inventories of shulker boxes full of water buckets.

  • The density of water is 997 kg/m^3. If you multiply that by 537 million, you get 535,389,000,000 kilograms of water in a single bucket. Steve has 36 inventory slots available which means he is able to lift 19,274,004,000,000 kilograms of water.

    • You also need to account for shulkerboxes: Steve has 37 slots in his inventory, he has an off-hand slot. You can fit 27 buckets of water in each shulkerbox. The water density is 997kg/m^3 and one water bucket is equal to 537*10^6 block in 1.17 37 * 27 * 997kg/m^3 * 537*10^6 = 5,35 * 10^14 = 534.856.110.000.000 In 1.18 this number would be much higher due to the increased depth and height.

    @jayjarvis1785@jayjarvis17852 жыл бұрын
    • as one cubic meter is equal to 1000 litres of water, and one litre (of water) is equal to one kilogram. and you have 36 slots in inventory. that makes Steve capable of lifting 36000 kilograms (add a 1000 more for java offhand slot). but if he uses shulker boxes (with 27 slots each) then he is capable of carrying 972,000 kilograms in water buckets. that´s 972 tons for bedrock and 999 tons for Java. No wonder water isn´t stackable.

    • 537,000,000 blocks of water would be 537,000,000 cubic meters of water. One cubic meter of water weights about 1000 kilograms, or 2204 pounds. A bit of quick math shows that in this one bucket of water, Steve is able to carry 537 billion kilograms of water, or 1.183 trillion pounds. If Steve's inventory were to be filled with water buckets, he could carry 19.332 trillion kilograms or 42.588 trillion pounds. If his inventory were to be filled with 36 shulkers each containing 27 water buckets, he could carry 521,000,000,000,000 kilograms or 1,148,000,000,000,000 pounds. If we jump a bit more to the sketchy side, we can consider filling end chests with shulker boxes. If Steve's inventroy were filled with 36 stacks of 64 end chests, each containing 27 shulker boxes, each containing 27 water buckets, he could carry 32,278,336,512,000,000,000 kilograms or 71.141 quintillion pounds. If Steve were to swing his fist while carrying one stack of these end chests at the average speed of a human punch while standing half a meter away from the point of impact, the impact force would be around 2.7 gigatons of TNT. To give an idea of how powerful that is, that's 180,000 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, and 54 times stronger than the most powerful bomb ever tested. Steve's punches would wipe countries off the map without effort.

A single metric cube of water weights 1 000 kilograms, so one minecraft bucket can now carry a trilion kilograms of water so if you put 27 buckets of water in a single sulker box and then put 37 of these shulker boxes in your inventory you can now carry 1 quadrilion kilograms in your inventory, which is a little less heavy than your mother.

    • Each block is one Cubic Meter so 1 block = 1000 Liters, assuming the number earlier is true, we have 537 Billion Liters, I decided to convert this to pounds for some insane reason, so 537 Billion Liters = 1,181400,000 Pounds In one water bucket, which you could ideally have more. So with 27 spaces in a shulker box, and if we don’t add shulker box weight or water bucket weight 1 shulker box of water buckets = 31,897,800,000 Pounds of water. Now in a inventory full of shulker boxes with water buckets in them, including offhand space is 37 inventory spaces. 1 inventory = 1,180,208,600,000 pounds of water. The only thing I haven’t accounted for here is the water bucket’s and shulker box’s weight, but ideally the weight doesn’t change much, and either way it’s still proven he can carry far more since he can still run and do other actions just fine. To sum it up, Steve is probably one of the strongest characters in fiction physically, able to carry over A trillion pounds in weight with ease.

  • Remove all blocks down to the void and start at the height limit letting it spread as a mountain (like the first one) and the break the blocks so it free-flows all the way down. However many that is, it's truly the maximum of a singular bucket. What's funny about water in minecraft is it's not actually anything like a solid, a liquid, or a gas (as they work in our world) but something of it's own entirely. It expands, cannot be compressed, has a situationally finite or infinite volume, and the source never moves to follow gravity but all water flow blocks will if cut off from the source, and otherwise just generate more flow blocks. What a wild substance.

    • @@SALOME-ln9mf ok I’ll translate What’s funny about water in Minecraft is that it’s not a solid, liquid, or gas, instead it’s something else. It spreads, cannot be pressed down, has both finite (finite is the opposite of infinite if you don’t know) and infinite volume (basically water can be contained in a limited space yet can also spread pretty much infinitely, as seen in the video), and the source block doesn’t follow gravity yet the flowing water will, which creates more flowing water. What a wild substance. I tried my best, if there’s something you don’t understand I’ll try to explain lol
