Seems to me it would make sense for northern states like Liberty City to have snow. If you recall, in the mission where CJ goes to Liberty City, it was all snowed in.

I am nearly speechless. A creation that has required such unfathomable amount of effort, talent, creativity and patience. Granted, the project is yet to be finished, however the result will be impressive. Kudos!
of all the mods ive seen over the 15 years ive watched and/or used, this one so far has been one of the more well put map mods. ive seen the others and they were fine but this one was probably the best one ive ever seen. like thats a lot of work that got put into the mod making actual cities and areas that are unique in appearance. who knows how much further this game can be pushed with those kinds of mods feel like it can keep going making them more complex and more detailed. also just imagine adding the graphics mod packs and the rtx remix on top of that. i can imagine this thing would be MINT to showcase
In the original 2d game you actually visited the main three cities, Liberty, Vice and San throughout the story. This should to return in gta 7
They could make GTA 7 with almost no map building editing doing this, since IV, V and VI are 3x cities and all built on the same engine. They’d get another $60 out of all of us and all they have to do is include some new cars, and write and act the new story.

looking like a mad project already. though one thing I would point out, Liberty City would be more like that seen in GTA:LCS. But can understand if unable to use that version of the map.
Will there be also a fictional Alaska and Hawaii? Maybe both reachable only by crossing sea, both in the west, one in the far north and the other in far south. Also, I'd really hope you will be able to add tints to the various zones. In the sense, if you notice, Los Santos has a very orange tint in the atmosphere, Liberty City instead a grey one and Vice City a pink one. I'd really like if you will add these and varios other tints to the various cities and regions. In any case, very good job. Wish you good luck guys.

As I know all places, like clothing stores, gyms and other, that outside of San Andreas are still not accessible. I think devs are concentrated on map rn, but after they will end with map, they will begin work on interiors (it's my opinion)

No joke, that is doable. Some AI, some automation, some Google Earth + a lot more computing power, you could totally recreate the world.

@@riverman6462 You don't need to recreate it identically or do it all at the same time. But if I recall right, some flight simulator already had the basic layout of the Earth done. And I can literally see my house on Google Earth in 3D.
@@shaun3713 It's just a rough estimate. But if GTA 10 was to replicate Earth itself and every intricate detail that walked this planet, in one singular game world, then we have a problem on our hands. This type of "simulated 3D environment" is nothing but a shallow aspect of Earth
@@riverman6462 Thing is, you can get a very basic layout and then fill in the details with some kind of procedural generation algorithm, which would be massively enhanced by AI. It wouldn't be identical to Earth, but you would recognize the places on Earth a lot of the time.
It needs to be and cities from Red dead redemption 2. But it is looking fantastic.

Firstly performance the map is ridiculously huge for GTAV, secondly the map at this point is pretty blank and empty and 3D universe aesthetic wouldn't fit into GTAV. And other issues on top that would make this a hassle

I see one annoying thing after some break from GTA:SA. This very close grass, trees and other objects spawn. From the distance, map looks empty and poor. There's any mod for that?? After near 20 years i think we can now render better LOD maps.
