Indeed. Could've been a setup to another joke as well. When Stephen asked Hugh to relive making love the night before, I was half expecting the reply "I thought you didn't want any stiffness."

Used to watch Saturday Night Live, and when it was on Fridays too. Lot of new talent started on that show... Harry Enfield, Julian Clarey. ..could do with something similar now, to get new faces up on stage. Most of it was brill.

I just LOVE this as a pianist myself. Stephen Fry clearly appears to know nothing about music at all as he doesn’t understand that’ ‘ A’ is a musical key , and what the heck has having a girlfriend and making love got to do with playing the piano ?
