Leach showed up to the2008 TTU v UT football camp-out with pizza for all the students. I really hope he gets a chance to coach at a competitive school again, any University/Student Body would be lucky to have him.

  • Do you know how difficult it is and was to recruit kids to come to fucking Lubbock? It fucking sucks there, it rains mud, it's cold and windy, there are dust storms every month, and it smells like manure half of the time. Kingsbury is going to face the same problems, regardless of how he runs things. I will say that Kingsbury at least has SOMEWHAT of a road paved for him, since Tech WAS successful under Leach, and more successful than they've ever been.

  • Thank you Coach for the best Tech football. What will we miss? Michael Lewis says it best in this video. "If you look at what Mike Leach has done for players, what he has gotten out of players, it is, it's like magic. Oh, Mike Leach has had a huge intellectual influence on the sport already. If you look at a Big 12 football game now versus 10 years ago, is an entirely different event. That's because everybody is watching Mike Leach's offence. He's young. Just wait. God Help You".

  • Right now Kingsbury is making $800,000. What's going to happen when he proves himself and earns a contract around 2-3 million? The Tech administration will simply treat Kliff the same way they treated Coach Leach, complete betrayal. Until the culture changes around there, Texas Tech will always be mediocre. They had a great coach that was just getting started, but Tech proves that they would rather be mediocre than have 9-11 win seasons every year.
