Back here again after it got issues with the other song title " selos" Filipino version. This song, i used to hear it every morning at home when i was a little. My mom really likes this song. She even make her own version with our dialect because she doesn't undestand English. My mom has bunch of dvd for the 90s songs. For those people who are saying that lenka got jealous over " selos" song because it got viral? I don't think so. It's her and her team hard work, and her mv got more views than the Filipino version, so why would she be jealous? The mv of the Filipino version got 2 million views Within 12 days, it is because of people curiosity. Like me, I never hear about " selos" until yesterday when I see on my feed back and got issued. So I took a look and listened what it sounds like. I might say, it sounds good for bisaya and Muslim tase. Because they're really into disco. But In Spotify and iTunes, it doesn't even get a few million. Lenka has the right to complain. Because they use her melody without her consent. Not to mention, they earn money from it, which is inappropriately. To all Filipino who bash lenka, try to put your shoes on her, and you will understand how it feels.

- @@dannycruz9513 kasi wala pang tiktok nung 2008 saka kita mo naman ang views since 2008 till now 106M. sumikat din ang kanta nya dito sa australia way back 2008 during release. yung shaira, walang masama kung i-cover at mag trend sa tiktok, ang problema wala sila cover rights at ni-release pa nila sa music streaming gaya ng apple itunes at spotify, doon sila kumikita kada may mag download ng kanta. unfair nga naman ito sa original composer ng melody na ginamit nila. copyright by law. lahat ng cover song ng pinoy singer artist natin ay binayaran ng record company nila yan bago i-record at i-release sa market gaya ng R2K album ni regine na lahat ay cover pero binayaran nila lahat ang copy rights.

she is THAT GIRL back then. This song and "The Show" will always have special place in my heart. Hey, people! You should stop saying that this song only got popular because of Shaira. This was popular for more than a decade already. And stop acting as if Lenka is indebted to Shaira, because it's the other way around. Y'all should just be grateful that Shaira's song is back on streaming platforms after settling an arrangement. Lenka doesn't deserve your hate. Also, tell Shaira and her management to be humble, at the least. Her newly released song speaks arrogance. Learn to accept mistakes. Equip yourself with basic knowledge in the different laws. Knowledge is power. Comprehension matters. Don't let ignorance spread like a disease in the Philippines, the world is watching us. That's why "Selos" is very familiar. This song by Lenka was popular during my childhood days. I hope those Filipinos bashing Lenka on her page would stop. They are so embarrassing! It is Shaira and her management who is at fault for making a song with a tune that's not theirs and they are literally earning through that! Of course, Lenka has all the right to condemn the act. It's her song and someone's benefiting without her knowledge. Ignorance of the law excuses no one, but I highly doubt if they're ignorant about copyright infringement. Lesson learned, they should ask for permission first. Btw, the original will always stay better. This has the class.

- I never thought of that but maybe it's because in my country, depressing lyrics include alcoholism, domestic violence and suicide. To me, these songs on the other hand demonstrate the mental capability of making the best out of a bad situation and taking it with some humor. The other song you mentioned also reflects the same mentality of just smiling at "The Show" even if it is a shit show.

When I was in preschool, the school bus driver would play the radio every morning and whenever this song comes up, I always tune along but couldn't find out the name. Today, in 2021, I was watching Grey's Anatomy and yess they played this song. I was so thrilled, after years I've finally found it. Brings back a lot of childhood memories.

In 2024, I can still hear this song. I really feel nostalgia attached to the notes and lyrics of this song. This song seemed to take me to 2014, when at that time I often shopped at supermarkets and heard this song many times while walking through the spacious and comfortable supermarket aisles. Those were fun times and days with a very light load on my mind and I really enjoyed it.

- I can feel the goosebumps when reading it because i know what you felt when you heard that song, for me when i listen to outside by Ellie Goulding ft. Calvin Harris it brings me back a sweet beautiful memories to 2015 me and dad had to listen to it every time we go to super market on the radio.
