I swear to god the animators of the new series deliberately made half these scenes HOPING someone would notice and put 2 + 2 together.

I love that in the sequel they made Adam not look bloody identical to He-Man. I always thought it was so stupid in the original that so few characters knew they were one and the same when all he does is change his outfit from the neck down.
On the original his identity is covered by a tan !
The production costs of the toys the show was based on weren't the greatest and most of the characters had the same body mold. Since the show's main purpose was to sell the toys the characters mostly looked the same as well, also due to costs. Take a look at She-Ra as well and how all the princesses look the same. We don't really have to worry about any of that today.

yes everything else in He-Man was so perfectly realistic this really was unacceptable.

I love how almost 1:1 it is! Truly a modern classic.

The original portray’s the characters pain so much better than the new one, but the new one brings the energy this song represents, only by watching the two together can you achieve true enlightenment.

I think the problem is that his new ,,prince" form looks wussy. In the orginal he looks mannish no matter what he wears.

Caught me off guard and I loved it.
Teela is basically a Beast Man in the remake, so it fits. Imean, Skeletor is wielding a staff with the female symbol on it.

They looks so good, since I knew the masters of the universe remaster, this is an next level step! It looks like an anime with an american influence and it fits so well, when an series would be in that style, I would like to see it! :D Good job!

The new Adam reminds me of the Jojo meme where they play the Pillar Men theme after a character gets buff.
OG Adam could only afford one model, so he saved money by getting really buff naturally and then just using the sword to distract people while he changed clothes.

The old he-man had such a wide range of facial emotion so he could easily get worked into a song that goes from depression to joy within a verse
The bit with the chef an now the blacksmith working while you can hear the music and dancing muffled in the background brings back so many memories of work in the backrooms where you would only hear the muffled bullshit going on in the main areas XD

Agreed. IMO Skeletor is the only character that looked ‘better’ in the side by side in the video. The slightly more 3D animation is better, but the 3D animations which were used took away from the art style making it worse overall IMO.
Listen, in the past He-Man they tried to please the gays of that era, and in this remake, they need to please the gays of this era. So of course something had to change, the gays of now prefer this He-Man. At least I do honey.
I guess CGI is ‘all the rage these days’. I don’t believe corporations have ever truly cared more than the corporate mantras expect them to. Figuratively speaking, one size messaging done aggressively is still one size.

I think the original has a more 'meme-y' vibe to it. No matter which second you pause the video at, almost every facial expression looks dank meme-like, that's what I like about it

The point I'm trying to make is that eventhough people grew up their expectations of the show stayed the same. Some people who grew up watching heman. Would simply "say wow they made a new Heman". End of story. Not a single view from them. The ones actually willing to watch the new one. Without a doubt. Would watch simply out of nostalgia. Because they want to have that Nostalgia. They are hoping to recapture their childhood. It's only natural. I personally did not grow up on Heman. It all happened way too early for me to get into it. Heck I never really understood the lore. I am however, capable of placing myself in the position of the majority. Of the classic fans that is. Basic rule in market research. I'm not saying not to create one with more mature themes. Still it will and as we can see, it has been far less profitable. As it failed to arouse that nostalgia that people were looking to have. No business wants to lose money or get bad reviews. It would have been a better decision to once again pander to the people willing to watch. As the audience they were aiming for clearly didn't show up. Netflix should know better. It's not having mature themes that pissed people off. Shit writing and terrible reading of the market did. Look at Castlevania. That shit slaps. It's animated and has scenes that should belong on an X-rated site. People still watch it and enjoy it because there was no nostalgia being sacrificed. Now they have no viewers and no prospect of gaining long lasting ones. This isn't even an opinion at this point. Proof is there. The people hate the new Heman, because they didn't make it for the right audience. I'll draw reference to this again. Imagine R-rated Simba dropping an F bomb halfway through Hakuna Matata. Or a detailed version of Mufasa's death. Thinking about it now I might watch it, but it doesn't matter. Not until I can gather a large audience that would be willing to sit down and do so.

I grew up with the original, I only clicked on this video expecting to be disgusted by this abomination of a remake, but then i watched it and i have got to say they compliment each other and for some reason i actually enjoyed it. WHAT IS THIS SCORCERY AND WHY DO I LIKE IT.
