Testing your "Gaydar" is fun and all, but now a days, the only way you will know is if the person tells you, or they came out. No use in assuming these type of thing. People can dress and act however they want, whatever they want. It annoys me a bit when some people say they have 100% gaydar, like an ability to read people. You can take Changyu for example, I would think he's pretty "straight," if I walked down the street, without knowing anything about him. He identifies as gay, so my assumptions would be wrong. Either way, Changyu is a cutie pie ❤
I can easily tell after finding out the interests of people or just talking to them for a few minutes. There definitely is a similarity in the way gay people act but that’s only the majority. It’s easy for me to tell since i’m still in school with a bunch of kids who are obvious. If I see a pin or sticker on someone’s backpack with adventure time or the owl house, obviously they’re gay, i don’t even need to ask. Dyed short hair? 95% chance of being gay. Girl on a basketball team? 70% chance of being gay. It may be called a stereotype to say these things, but I can’t really deny that most stereotypes are true. People automatically assume i’m gay because I fit some stereotypes.

“Nowadays” can be very different in different parts of the world and their cultures. So this is not universal. Changyu may be read differently by Koreans than by westerners, for example. I definitely would’ve flirted Changyu if I met him out.
