Russel, You will probably think I’m nuts, but I honestly prefer those super cozy Soviet era apartments you show us. I do love the view of Moscow though ! 😍 Take Care & Thank You!🌹
Hi, Russel. Whats about moscow zoo, oceanarium or dolphinarium? Make film about this, please.
Wow. Absolutely stunning. I'd live there for sure.
I couldn’t live way up there.
A
Not often am I surprised by the videos on this channel, but this was bloody incredible. Please do not misunderstand me, as an expat who lives in St. Petersburg most of what you show is stuff I see often. I just watch your videos for the entertainment value. You are a great host.
Wow, thank you. I like to try and mix up my content from time to time. I love these apartment tours. I just wish I could make more of them. My other love of course is supermarkets.
In Russia, there is a tradition to launch a cat into a new apartment first. ) now Russell will apply for this place ).. We will invite him to new apartments )😃👏
how about the Russian tradition where you steal home appliances and washing machines in countries that you invade? :) tell me about that
Russell, you like to buy there. Be lovely. I like to purchase there .❤
Hi Russell your channel is really helpful for me. I’m moving to Moscow with my family this summer. I love seeing what I can buy in your supermarket videos
Have to add a comment now I've seen the prices Russell and wow! Very well priced actually. Our apartment which is in a luxury district of Istanbul, there's only myself and my wife, is 75 square metres, nowhere near as high tech as these, it's on a first floor of an 8 floor building. We bought it 20 years ago at a reasonable price but it's now selling for at least a million dollars. We couldn't afford to buy where we live today, so we were lucky as we are not super rich people !!
Simple apartments in not the biggest Russian cities with 2-3 rooms can cost 100000-150000 USD,so i think comparing to this, its really high price, but on the other side its one of the best skyscraper of the country
We also live in Turkey, but on the "other" side in Gemlik/Bursa with a direct view of the water. We bought our apartment about seven years ago, the first floor of a four-story house with around 105m2 of living space. Bought at an incredibly low price back then (emergency sale by the bank) and then renovated, it is now worth around eight times the price, according to brokers. The apartments shown are of course phenomenal and in view Given the location and amenities, it's not too expensive either. Living in a skyscraper would be nothing for us...
@@dirkvonriegen5267 Ahh very nice . Gemlik is lovely ! I like Bursa too, we usually make at least one trip every year taking the ferry from Istanbul. Some beautiful places to see.

I prefer single family home with a nice backyard, front yard, deck, porch, pool, garden, etc. Thank you, Russell for this wonderful opportunity to see my hometown.
The people who buy these apartments all, as a rule, already have everything that you have listed and even more.
This is for free (each adult citizen in Russia can get 1 hectare of land for any purposes, so wife+husband = 2 hectares). You just need to build house )

Gorgeous apartments with incredible views. But the price reflects it.
I think so also, the view and the location.
With a real purchase, the discount can be very significant. Literally up to 20-30%. Due to the overheated supply at the moment.
@@user-xo4nw4wg7i There are no such discounts on the Moscow market, there never have been. Maximum 1-5 percent. Sometimes developers can give more. But this is rare. This project is 95 percent sold or more.
I adore this apartment, the views are amazing. Imagine sitting in the living room at night, tv on, no lights on but over looking the night lights of Moscow. Would be incredible.
I couldn't live that high up but definitely a beautiful apartment for anyone who could 😮
Lost for words, it's just magnificent Fell in love The views are just out of this world
Russell - I Absolutely love your apartment tour videos- keep them coming please
Amazing views, but I would never live in a skyscraper.
Saw this neighbor a few days ago. Awesome skyline and the stores inside.
You did? Which stores? Or am I misreading your comment?
@TravellingwithRussell went through the an entire mall in Moscow city . Saw those buildings from Taras Shevchenko waterfront line .I've started walking through Kutuzovsky, went closer to the river, and closed over the bridge to the Moskow city .
Imagine it at night with all the lights on. Wow❤
Beautiful place, but not for me, I’m down-to-earth person, prefer to live closer to the ground.
That view is just so stunningly beautiful… 🥂
2 videos in one day, also can you do a tour of a nature park or aquarium or something? Love the videos from California
I know, the previous one wasn't performing so well. So I brought this one forward a little.
There are lots of parks and recreation areas in Moscow. And there is the world-famous VDNKH with a lot of pavilions dedicated to various Soviet republics, as well as thematic exhibition pavilions. For example, Atom, Cosmos, the Romanov Royal Family 1613-1917, the Russia pavilion with 89 regions with history and achievements, which has already been visited by 8 million people in six months. And an amazing Moskvarium.
I know this may be strange but I would really rather have one of the old-style soviet apartments. What they lack in "wow" they make up in character and coziness.
It doesn't sound strange to me at all! I love soviet apartments and courtyards around them!
The comfort in the apartment is created by the residents themselves. But you can’t do the beautiful view and location yourself. Plus, importantly, the neighbors.
They're depressing
My fear of heights would not lend itself well to living that high up. Half of my family is Welsh - so I would prefer a nice hole in a hillside. 😀 I was almost paralyzed the time I went to the top of the Empire State Building. I can not imagine the people who walked down the gangplank to the "observation deck" where the dirigibles (zeppelins) would "dock" at. Even the pictures of it make me shiver!
Do you speak Welsh?
@@AlexanderTch Just a few words, here and there. I have only visited Wales once - but it is a lovely country. Cymru is the Welsh word for Wales. Cymry is the Welsh word for the people of Wales. Cymraeg is the name for the Welsh language. There is a plan by the Welsh government to restore more of the Welsh language to the people of Wales. (Lots of "history" involved in restoring the rights of the people to speak their hereditary language).
Absolutely gorgeous Russian Apartment and wow! what an incredible view! The best thing is it's still affordable. 👍
I'd say that it's not affordable for most Russian people and even for most residents of Moscow, who happen to be richer than other Russian people. Maybe for higher management positions, people who can survive the capitalist rat race and want to be "on top". A worker who is lucky to be a very qualified specialist with a profession of high demand, with good mental health to survive in competitive environment, will spend most of their adult life to pay for this. And this place is not very warm. Maybe a good place to die from a suicide for person who seek the success in rat race. Or an another property for a really rich person who want another home near the city center or to brag that they live on Nth floor in an area for "successful people". These high rise buildings have very different vibes than me, probably this is very similar for the majority of citizens of Russia.
Affordable? 😂
Same in NYCand other big cities around the world. middle class people cannot afford to live in sky scrapers @abstractrussian5562
The average salary in Russia is $500. What kind of affordable are you talking about?)
Oooh, so swanky! I'd imagine that first apartment would be $300-400k US dollars to buy and maybe $1500 a month to rent? Man, I'd love to call that apartment home, but I would also need a dacha in the country for decompressing. Wow, what a view! I am a bit wary of heights, but not when I'm in a building. Gorgeous apartment. When can I move in? Damn! One and a half million dollars? Looks like I'll have to stick with the dacha in a little village. But if I win the lottery ...
In Russia, according to statistics, 63 percent of the population (those who live in urban apartments) have dachas! People who buy apartments in the towers of Moscow City definitely have money for a country house too! Don't even doubt it.
Hello from Eugene Oregon! Just curious as to how many 2 or 3 bedroom apartments might be available in such a building, i.e. for families with children? Lovely apartments with fabulous views, but I get panic attacks at such heights so I couldn't live there. The Russian economy must be doing quite well for so many luxury apartments to be built and on the market. Compared to my home town - San Francisco - prices seem quite reasonable.
@@user-qk7zy7eq9d Thanks for your response, makes a lot of sense.
This is a business district. For families there are cosier locations with schools, playgrounds and green areas. The height of those is usually 1-25 floors
@@elizabethgrinningson7730 Thank you for clarifying!
@@user-qk7zy7eq9d Basically, this complex has large apartments with 2, 3 or more bedrooms. The complex itself has a children's center, and nearby is an excellent amusement park and an excellent embankment. Children will be fine here. There are many good and prestigious schools nearby.
I absolutely could live there . ❤
This apartment is good for one single person. I’d never live there but perhaps use it as my home office for work.
Never dissapoints. Thanks Russel. This place is Amazing
I like a nice apartment and panoramic windows. If I were some kind of businessman, I might have acquired it. Otherwise, I would have taken more land outside the city and built myself a cozy house with a garden where I could enjoy nature and clean air. And in the city, just get out to the shops and to work.🤔
Vuews from the appointments are amazing and breathtaking, the sizes are pretty good, prices are cheap to compare Sydney market.Thank you Russell for interesting video ❤
As I watched I was looking and thinking and the amount that came to me was 1 million. The views were beautiful , I'm glad you were able to get in to show us.
My anxiety having little children and those floor-to-ceiling windows would be through the roof. Couldn’t do it. These flats look more for people without children.
It’s very rare that these windows break, but I wouldn’t lie to you and say that they never do. There was just recently a tragic high profile incident of a mother and her child were blown out of their high-rise apartment when one of these windows broke open, but I suspect that perhaps more to do with poor workmanship or quality than the actual window. I don’t know we don’t have any more information unfortunately, that’s almost unheard of. The incident on speaking of actually just happened the last few months within China. It happened during a windstorm but even in a windstorm it shouldn’t break which is why they suspect other contributing factors.
@@DaveP-uv1mlI heard of this. It’s so sad. 😞

Very modern living in those apartments. Crazy prices but I guess that's not something unusual for housing in the middle of large cities. I wouldn't like to live there since I am a naturelover. And for that money I could get a nice house with a lot of acres. But we are all different and I am sure that those who like living like this will enjoy it.
Thanks for the video! I've lived in all sorts of Moscow apartments over the past 20 years and now live in a house. Much better. Most apartments are built like crap and are not properly sound insulated. If somone does a bit of DIY and messes up, you are often without water. Can get annoying.

Very nice apartments and the views are awesome . Thank you for the tour.
All materials in this apartment are natural. There is Norwegian granite on the floor, natural marble in the bathroom. The countertop and apron in the kitchen are also made of granite.

Hi, Russel! Could you make a review of Kazan city before the BRICS leaders' summit and sport games?
View's out the window looks like London 👍
Except when you get closer, it is clean and there are no crazy and homeless people, no riffraff and nobody is peeing in the street. People look normal and relaxed.
There are similar apartments in central London and the price in London will be £2-3m pound sterling for the cheapest. You can get them cheaper out of central London somewhere in docklands and there they will be slightly cheaper £1.2m or so. Not really affordable for anyone in London with regular jobs or even well paid jobs. Some of these towers remain empty in London and are used by foreign investors to park their dirty cash. London is where dirty money is dumped into such apartments and nobody ever lives in them.

Thanks for the video! I really enjoyed watching it! Oh, and just in case you were looking for some video ideas, here's one: a room tour of an appartment of Moscow renovation program (you know, the appartments the city gives in exchange of khrushevka buildings). And if you ever happen to visit the South of Russia, it would be a good idea to make a video about Krasnodar park (it's one of the best parks in the words, and I've visited 37 countries... I can compare it only with Marina Bay park in Singapore). In Russian it's called Love these videos too.
The entry to this building is luxurious compared to the apartments you have previously visited. The height wouldn't bother me because there's no balcony but the fear of the glass falling out would be a worry. The 2nd apartment, the layout and view aren't as good as the finished apartment. For overall safety in the case of emergency I'd never want to live on either of those floors. It would be difficult to exit in a hurry. It's interesting because I thought the finished apartment would cost more. My estimated price is way under on the actual prices, wow that's more that the average price we pay here in Canada for a 1 bedroom our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom right at Lake Ontario average about $875,000. Question: Is there a monthly maintenance fee charged to the owners?
Yes
I'm in Canada - rent for that would be & @$1,000.00USD and $400.per bedroom extra. Purchase would depend on the floor & parking inc. " I could Live there " CD$ 72.65 to USD "
Canada don't have such luxury apartments! And no way it would cast $1400 5k-7k at least
As a Canadian I don't find the selection of flooring, kitchen cabinets, bathroom, etc. appealing. I can't believe how small the kitchen areas are. I watch videos about Singapore and Malaysian condo and house design, decor and furniture and I love what they do.
