I love chimpanzees but damn, not as pets. When he's this young it's all fun and games, but when he starts becoming older and possibly delusional, oh boy nothing good follows. It definetly isn't unheard of for old pet chimps to become violent and kill their "owners". Just be careful and be cautious if he ever starts acting weirdly and unfriendly.

He is still smal but I wouldnt suggest keeping a chimp as they get older unless you want to live with him solo. They dont mess around when they get agitated, jealous or not liking a stranger. Humans are worse but... a chimp is strong and savage af. They go for your face and nuts..

An adult chimp is a slow burning fuse in a human environment. Tick, tick, tick, BOOM. There goes your nose, eyes, fingers and face when it finally snaps.
Primates are such amazing creatures! You can see their brains working.....all the time! I'm just blown away by his knowledge of the things in his environment!! I haven't added to my "bucket" list since 1994 (that was to see my mom heaven) but I'm adding this Safari experience to it today. I'll see this place if its the last thing I do.

This is on my bucket list, I will stay there before I die! It’s my dream vacation with the animals I adore!
Good luck with that.. the owner has been to court for animal abuse more than once.. he was part of that Tiger King show and abuse of all those big cats. He’s on Petas list of worst offenders and eventually he will be stopped and those chimps will go to sanctuaries to live as chimps where they belong. Anytime I see this, it makes me tear up. The psychological damage that they endure.

Don’t forget that chimp was being given xanax. A dangerous drug that turns off certain receptors in your brain that to help prevent anxiety and depression but clouds your judgement and disorients you from reality in the process. I used to be prescribed that stuff and it ruined me and a part of my life I can’t take back. It turns any human into a zombie. I can’t even imagine what it’s like for a chimp to go through that. The owner was clearly ignorant in that case. You really can’t blame the chimp for being forced to take a self destructive drug.

Sealed Chamber but I consistently read that chimps and other apes are 6-7 times stronger than a man. If you watch them climb, they easily do one-arm pull-ups, etc.. 6/7 times looks about right.
@@robthom09 I read that all of the time too, and it is infuriating because it is completely arbitrary and false. A chimp's muscle is about a third stronger than a human muscle of the same size, but because chimps are lighter than the average person, people are actually stronger in absolute terms.
