I can't wait to listen to this because my daughter absolutely buys oat milk and it's scary to me. I quit eating oatmeal the day I found Dr. Gundry online. I've always loved oatmeal but then again I was about 100 lb overweight!!!
In San Diego where I currently live, I have met a Matcha latte farmers’ market vendor, and a friend that liked oat milk. After of course, being a faithful Gundry follower, I usually try to ask for coconut milk at my coffee shops for a latte is when it is available. I used to think almond milk was somewhat acceptable, until I heard the full hearted endorsement of coconut milk. Occasionally I’ll have the A2 milk brand when I can find it.
It’s heart breaking what strange products are popular today. God please help us. And start with me. Oat and Soy milk might be the ‚new‘ fruit juice. And fruit juice *was* healthy because fruits are healthy right? And who did say that fruits are healthy? An Apple a day keeps the doctor away? Does it still count for the genetically modified extra sweet apple that was waxed to preserve it and stored for 5 months until shipping out to the supermarket shelf? Is that fresh produce full of vitamins, enzymes and plant proteins? Thank You any organic or biodynamic farmer for interacting with God’s nature and blessing with love, kindness, understanding and patience 🙏
What's wrong with oats?
Dude I’m gluten sensitive and so I thought oatmeal was okay. Just a few days ago I almost lost my marbles after a bowl. 72 hours and I’m finally starting to feel better.
@@raydawg2115 oats can get contaminated with gluten because they're sometimes processed at the same places as other crops. You can get guaranteed gluten free oats I believe. Assuming I'm remembering correctly.
Appealing to the young generation with tier-lists? I APPROVE. 😹🤙🏽💯 very helpful!
I liked this format. I really love sheep and goat milk, but sheep is indeed hard to find
We're so glad to hear that!
I solely drink hazelnut and walnut milk, plus I make my nuts milk at home in conjunction with monk fruit powder as well as pure vanilla extract. 😋
That sounds delicious!🍴 Thank you for sharing!
@GundryMDYT Yes, Doctor Gundry! I'm on the Keto and Paleo diet. I eat super healthy, even though I'm in good shape. Ever since I've been utilizing organic pure monkfruit sweetener, I am feeling much better. Therefore, I don't crave process and sugary food and beverage. I also drink single origin light roasted coffee along with organic coconut coconut milk powder and tiny coconut sugar in my coffee once every three days on early morning; hence, I don't feel jiternesss, nor do I feel mood fluctuations or crash. Indeed, you're the best doctor forever. Additionally, I have learned so many constructive tips in terms of health and nutrition and so forth. Thank you so much for allocating your time and helping society to be happy and healthy.
Thank you for those kind words and all of your support! Keep up the good work! 🙌
I do the same! Make my own hazelnut and walnut milk, but with a good pinch of salt to enhance flavour😋
My daily fav is plain goat keifer. I was hesitant at first due to taste, but it was really good, since I was use to buttermilk, so sourness wasn't the problem, it was the 'wet dog' taste from earlier products, now I don't taste the goatiness at all! Thank you for today's share!
I love goat milk keifer
@@wandakattmckinney9609 I was so impressed with this procuct, and drink a cup everyday. My gut health is happy :P
My go to milk is unsweetened coconut milk but will keep an eye out for flax and hemp milk.
Waaaahhhhh! I guess I won't be ordering my next cappuccino with any more oat milk. I am sad, but I can replace it with macadamia nut milk. Thank you, Dr. G. - I truly love your content & YOU!
Thank you for your support! 🙏
Oats are sprayed with pesticides
Thank you very much Dr Gundry, for all your efforts to help us and as well as to keep us updated on healthy food choices 🥰🇨🇦
Thank you for your kind words! 🙌
Thank you for excellent and informative video dr. Gundry is the best !
Thank you so much for your feedback, Sonia!
Dr gundry thank you for making informational videos about nutrition and would you recommend a lectin and anti-nutrient free diet?
Hi! Dr. Gundry recommends following a lectin-free lifestyle. For more information please watch this video from Dr. Gundry: kzhead.info/sun/kplmYbKXqJavY6M/bejne.html
Coconut milk, Hemp milk and Goat Kefir are my to go tos ❤
Same here
Loved this way !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As someone with crohns disease, these videos are very helpful. My gut is super sensitive, and the foods you say are bad for the gut are spot on
Thank you for your feedback!
I Loved this and feel relieved and affirmed that my coconut milk passes Dr. Gundry's rigorous assessment. NOW I'm excited to try some of his "superfood" ranked milks! Dr. Gundry, I've not been tested, but every time I've consumed hemp hearts I feel nausea, so should I assume hemp milk won't work for me? (There are so many other great options, I wouldn't try it anyway, just wondering!!)
THANK YOU DR. GUNDRY FOR VERY USEFUL INFORMATION ❤
You're welcome! We're always happy to help. 🙏
Dr. Gundry - excellent video..I currently drink only coconut milk, unsweetened of course...that being said I did briefly use almond and tried soy milk...in the past...I will look to see if there is any goat or sheep milk locally...thanks again for looking out for us and our health....
Thank you for watching our video! We're so glad you enjoyed it. Keep up the good work! 💯
In Spain, we have always had "horchata", a typical drink from Valencia made with tiger nuts and water. Nowadays, it would be called "milk", but here it has its own name. It's very refreshing in the summer. Unfortunately, it's often found with sugar so you have to watch carefully.
Again .. great presentation Dr Gundry !!! My fave milk has always been goat milk. Looking to try Hazelnut and Macadamia Nut milk .. have not yet seen it on shelves ...
Thank you for this great video! I stopped dringing oat milk some time ago, and use now almond and coco milk. Unfortunetly it’s difficult to buy one with no added suger or added strange things to it 😮 ( I live in The Netherland. ) I never seen flax or hemp milk in stores 🤷🏻♀️ I just made hemp milk home and OMG is so gooddddd 😋 THANK YOU.
You're welcome! We're so happy to hear you made your own hemp milk and you're loving it. 🙌
Buy the ones with no oils added
Thank you for educated us!
Thank you, we appreciate your comment!
Great video as always Dr.Gundry, what's your thoughts on camel milk ?

I changed to coconut milk sometime ago, now I know it is good for me, and it is the easiest one to find, plus I love coconut in everything, except flour because of the strong flavor, even when I love the meat of coconut. I have found out that coconuts take the colds away from me (I have no olds anymore) and the people around me who use the shampoo or any other product with coconut.
I like unsweetened pistachio milk, walnut milk, hazelnut milk, coconut milk and hemp milk. I haven't found macadamia milk yet. I had goats milk when I was growing up cause we had a few goats. I haven't had goats or sheep milk cause I haven't found them here. I do get sheep yogurt though. I've learned a lot from you and appreciate all the info that you share. Thank you!
I put half a cup of blanched almonds in with two cups of water and a couple of cubes of ice in my blender, blitz it, and then store it in the fridge and use it in my coffee every day. When I don’t have any almonds, I blitz up a half a cup of macadamia’s and two cup of water and use that coffee. When I don’t have almonds or macadamia’s I blitz’s up, skinless hazelnuts and two cups of water and boom in my coffee! Yum!
I like whole, heavy whipping cream all the fat, none of the sugar
Great presentation 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for sharing, we appreciate your comment!
Does Dr. Gundry's have a good book or video(s) that is beneficial for those with autoimmune diseases? I would love some guidance-sjogrens and hashimoto's.
Hello! You can check out all of Dr. Gundry’s books here: bit.ly/3nJuGaQ I hope this helps!
You are eye opener very good
Thank you doc my fever milk is almond and l love oat milk too but since you said it was bad I will never buy again thank you again for such an awesome information very helpful keep up the best work 👍🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
🤣 The potato milk got thrown on the floor, my thoughts exactly! I had the hardest time quitting potatoes I am believe they destroyed my gut for sure. Thanks for educating me in an entertaining way.
Thank you Dr Gundry elmhurst walnuts milk unsweetened
You're welcome, Vince! 🙌
I am lactose intollerant but also barely saw it as an issue cause i dont like the taste of animal milk and 95% of cheeses either but I guess I should switch my soy milk maybe and try something new I am just worried about the price cause those plant milk at the high top are not as common so maybe I will start with coconut which is easier to find
Still looking for my favorite milk. Thanks for the information a lot more to try. One question: Does fermenting move A2 milk to a super food?
Hi! Due to high volume, Dr. Gundry is unable to answer every incoming question. We appreciate the time you took to write this question, we will submit it to our growing list of FAQs. Thank you!
Thank you 👍👍👍
I love Goat milk and coconut milk.
Those are both great choices! 🙌
I've never tried most of those nut milks but hazelnut milk sounds YUMMY and sounds like it would make a DELICIOUS latte!
I drink coconut milk every day, but I like Brazil nut milk as well
@GundryMDYT, I am curious to know where raw cow milk, raw kefir, Fairlife Whole Ultra-Pasturized milk, and Pistachio milk all fit into this ranking? From my knowledge, the first two are superior to all of them, but I’m curious to know your thoughts.
We love this question! Adding it now to our list to possibly cover in a future KZhead video. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more exciting videos!
This is great
Dr. Gundry, what are your thoughts on the Ultra Pasteurization of the Goat milk though? I drink this but worried about the ultra pasteurization of it. I also used to drink Good Karma’s Flax Milk but it has pea protein in it along with natural flavors. Any other brands you could recommend? Thank you!

I take unsweetened (peeled) almond milk in my tea. Anyone know if drinking this will break the fasting.
It will but barely
I make my own almond milk with toasted slivered almonds that have NO brown skins, in my Blendtec (Vitamix works too) blender. 1 handful with 1 teaspoon of pink salt, a little pure vanilla (I'm not sensitive to vanilla) extract (optional), and sometimes a little 100% pure organic stevia and it is SOOOO delicious. 1/2 t chicory root inulin will give it a little healthy prebiotic and thickness if you like that. I am amazed at how much better it tastes than anything you could buy - that toasty flavor is like the one I miss from roasted peanuts but milder. Once weekly takes 5 minutes and stays all week in a big glass jar in my fridge. Shake before using! I do not strain it (really don't need to) so as to keep all the fiber. I can easily make toasted hazlenut milk too. I' will try macadamia since I do eat them! Thanks!
oops 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
I made milk from blanched almonds years ago. My question is this….does removing the skin remove the lectins? Your recipes sounds wonderful.
Many thanks for this informative video! I make my own hazelnut and walnut milk with a good pinch of salt to enhance flavour. Would love pistachio and macadamia nut milk, but they are too expensive in Europe where I live. Will try making flax milk!
You're welcome! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed our video. Please let us know how your homemade flax milk turns out!
@@GundryMDYTTried making flax milk and it was a disaster because it's completely different from making nut milk. I should have watched a recipe just in case, but I didn't, with obvious results 😂😂😂I used the same amount of flax like I use for nut milk. After soaking I had a slimy mass, which I rinsed as well as I could, then added water and blended, wondering why my Vitamix had a hard time😂😂😂 When I poured the thick smoothie like liquid into straining cloth, I tried to squeeze it and it was so thick the strained slime could barely come out😂😂😂 I did as much as I could, diluted the product with water and washed away the rest making a mess and wasting the flax seeds😂😂😂 So, now I watched some recipes and know you need just a bit of flax to make a rather large jar of flax milk😂😂😂 I like the taste and it will certainly be my go to milk, thank you!
Oh wow, we're so sorry that happened. 😂 Hopefully, the next batch is better! 🙌
Macadamia is my drink of choice.
Dr Gundry, which milk do you suggest for Apoe4 people? Don’t they also need to avoid saturated fats?

Dr. Gundry, you recommend pressure cooking beans and legumes, but what if they are canned and cooked with that process? Is canned pressure cooking a suitable method, and thus many canned beans at the supermarket would be ok?
I do usually cook them another time into a meal for good. Dr. Gundry said sometimes the water can be even used because lectins become deactivated by pressure cooking. I found out that doesn’t seem to count for ‚solanine‘ which is in green parts under the shell of eggplants or potatoes. Please google *solanine* if You want to learn more about it. I often throw the water of canned beans and similar away to be safe though, but I want to learn more about it and not waste nutrients. 🙏❤🙏
Dr. Gundry recommends pressure cooking beans even if they're canned except for Eden and Jovial brand beans- which pressure cook their products. Thank you!
Thank you Dr. Gundy. I have been making my own almond milk I let them rest in broiled water for 20 min or more I remove the skin and then blend it. Is that okay or is still not that good for a choice?

Though I have PCOS, all dairy products, milk, yogurt, whey protein powder seem to suit my body completely and I have no issues with them so can I continue to keep dairy in my daily diet?
Hello there, thank you for reaching out! We highly recommend contacting your primary care physician if you have any medical questions or health concerns. Your physician will have a better understanding of your medical history and will be able to better assist you. Thank you!
My favorites have been Goat milk, hemp milk and coconut ( in that order). I also like Raw Cow's milk from our dairy farm that has A2 cows.
Thank you for sharing, Tracy! 🙌
Dr.Gundry, what about Brazil Nut Milk, Chestnut Milk, Pecan Milk, Pili Nut Milk, Pistachios Milk, Sesame Milk, Walnut Milk, Water Buffalo Milk?

I usually drink oat milk from Starbucks ones an a while since I know it’s not to good. 🤔 But I still eat my oat meal at home only since I eat sprouted version. And I eat my oat meal with protein A2 milk . 😋
Those Super foods will go great on my Lucky Cahrmsy, lol
I like banana milk and unsweetened almond milk
Nowadays pea protein shakes are common place in vegan foods like protein bars or powders example Kate farm protein shakes
But flaxseeds contain compounds called cyanogenic glycosides, which can release hydrogen cyanide when the seeds are crushed (ground) and come in contact with water. So wouldn't that make flaxseed milk problematic?
We received your question! We have added it to our growing list of FAQs. Make sure to follow our social media pages for updates!
What about pecan milk?
I heard that some people definitely react to the lectins of Pecans. I advise You to avoid regular consumption of any nut milks (except coconut in fair amounts) because nuts (and low hydration) gave me kidney damage. Nuts are high in oxalic acid which solves into water. Oxalic Acid is also produced in our body and has to be detoxed by the kidneys together with uric acid. The kidneys get overwhelmed by to much of those acids and there’s a big factor for arthritis, degrading body tissue and bone (and teeth) demineralization. Hope I could provide some warning with useful arguments 🙏❤🙏

I'd like to understand why coconut milk is not in the superfood category. Hemp milk is my favorite.
What’s better? A2 whole milk or Grass Fed whole milk? Do A2 cows eat GMO grain?
Hi there! Dr. Gundry explains that coconut milk is a great dairy free option. Almond milk is fine as long as it is made from peeled almonds and unsweetened.

Why is almond milk a c? If it is unsweetened is it ok?
Because they don't always blanch those almonds.

Goat milk always grow up drinking that , still drinking it all now
Coconut milk and goat milk is my absolute favorite. Sometimes I make my own almond milk from peeled almonds. ( Soak and peel) However to make kefir I use pasture raised cow milk.
