I think the reason they have weird hitboxes is cos they are using magnitude for hit detecting which is very limited and inaccurate for weapons raycasting would be much superior from a developers POV

pre sure all weapons have the exact same side range, and then the range:# thats in the weapon is on the Z axis. So it gen is a fair weapon since (to my knowledge) all other acts identically except its jsut theyre anims r diff so it looks weird on the spear.

pro tip for new players looking to have a chance at pvp (particularly against voids) runaway and wait for them to try to jump attack you, then use your uppercut (ctrl + m1), because it has immunity frames against aerial assault attacks since nobody ever adapts in deepwoken and they only play off muscle memory, just repeat until victory!

Using uppercuts to counter aerial attacks is incredibly inconsistent. 8 times out of 10 you’re gonna slide right past them. The only time this will work is when you do it on accident.
